His overall play has improved loads since he joined, but his luck / flukyness has dried out of recent.

A decent return last season (given the service he was given and Ba being there for half of it), a spectacular one for half a season prior to that, and two great seasons in the Bundesliga before that. I don't think he's a half season wonder or anything. He's clearly a decent striker tbh, just flawed and really out of form.
