Odin 0
This needs to happen. An upcoming home game (Hull City @St James 21st September)The spotlight needs to be turned fully on Mike Ashley and what his intentions are for the club. The media needs to know this is all about Mike Ashley and not confuse the issue to be about Joe Kinnear or Alan Pardew. The aim is to boycott a home game. A mostly empty stadium would send a message to Ashley that the game is up, there's no more bullshit to use up on us, we are wise to his lies and we are united in boycotting him by not turning up.He is not comfortable with media attention so this will get a message straight to him that enough is enough. The aim of this is to get his attention so that he addresses the fans directly about how much longer he plans to stay and what his ambitions are while owning the club. No more lies. The only way this will work is if everyone participates. Those on Twitter please copy and post this:#BoycottMikeAshley Make your voice heard with your feet. Boycott #NUFC v Hull City, St James Park, 21st September 2013. Unite against AshleySpread the word on any social media you can and make this happen. We need mainstream local media on board with this too to get momentum. We have a few weeks.

OTF 7214
Can't it be done against better opposition so there's smaller chance that it will impact on the result? It was Hull last time (2008) when protests occurred. We lost the match 1-2 and those three points saw Hull stay up at our expense.

Odin 0
Am open to any suggestions, including the date of home match. But this being the first game at home after the break we really need to strike while the iron is hot. The idea of this is that it belongs to all of us, so if we spread the word and do our bit this has every chance of working. And no he doesn't give a fuck about us. Anyone who knows anything knows that. But he does like his privacy, and if mainstream media get a sniff of this he can kiss goodbye to that. Like i've mentioned on other boards, if anyone has a better idea please share it but if you feel this could work, take ownership of it, it's not a lot to ask everyone to share around. Christmas Tree 4669
Sitting comfortably in mid table, 4 points on the board, a great addition to the squad in Remy, another 4 or 5 first teamers in this year and lots of dross off the books (except Ba who we had little choice about). Through to the next round of the cup..... Time to boycott was after Keegan, after the re-name etc not now. Not that he would give a flying fuck anyway. And I think it's fairly safe to say ALL the media already know the score.
Happy Face 29
http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?/topic/34490-Cheap-Corporatre-tickets-offered-prior-to-public-sale#entry1220838 I'd be as annoyed as everyone else seems to be if it wasn't so utterly predictable and clearly following the same trend as the past 6 years. It's not even as bad as last year's window tbf. Remy is a good addition, albeit not permanent. And we don't have a European campaign to cope with. Why no boycoutt proposed then? David Kelly 1217
His intentions are clear. He wants his money back then he'll fuck off. I really can't understand how anyone can't see this. As it stands he can't recoup what he's spent by selling us because no one would pay that much. So he'll take it back bit by bit allowing us to spend no more on players than what it will take to keep the revenue that he requires coming in. He doesn't have the time or inclination to bother with us any more. If he could get rid now he would (he would have ages ago). A bouycot wouldn't bother him in the slightest and in fact while he shuns the press himself, I'm sure he would see any attempts they made on him as more advertising for his real interest Sports Direct. Face up to the fact that we're stuck with him until he gets his money back. No amount of pressure will make him accept a loss.

Monkeys Fist 41925
You're asking people to do something they've been asked to do before, and ignored the requests then too. Lower your aim- ask people to leave their seats , at a pre-arranged signal 10 minutes after kick off, and gather on the concourses for 15 minutes. It needs to be done at a televised game too, for maximum impact. But you're wasting your time, because people won't do it, and Ashley couldn't give a fuck

Most people are cretins who can't see the big picture though so it'll never happen.

An injury to Remy and our 3 remaining strikers managed 13 goals between them last season. Have a look at last seasons table and see how many goals you needed to score to stay up. Ben Arfa can't score screamers every game. In fact we are lucky if he does it every 6 or 7 games. We are fucked
