Howmanheyman 33827
How did you answer? Mainly 1's.......Afraid you're more Gemmill than Essembee. Mainly 2's....... You're at home with ewerk and the rest of the working classes.

PaddockLad 17643
I'm 2 & 1 seemingly; as mentioned on here before, my middle class object of ridicule is a rather natty man bag Better questions for this thread may be "who hates themselves for who their parents were and who desperately wants to holday in Tuscany and own a micro pig?" ewerk 31195
Going by ewerks protests over his carting i think he's more living amongst the peasants like who dared to ruin his day Clearly my attempts to raise her family's social standing through association with me aren't going to work. Ayatollah Hermione 14047
I wear Geordie Jumpers tbh. I'm definitely not middle class like but being on here is good practice for when I'm in my 30s and my high-ranking lawyer wife is invited to dinner parties. I know to talk about body fat, where to buy organic meat and the right ale to have with seafood.

Monkeys Fist 43063
One feels excluded from this poll since there is no Upper bracket, but I do enjoy interacting with the plebs.

Happy Face 29
Where would you place the bar on earnings alone, to separate working and middle class? Range Number of taxpayers £4,745 to £6,000 1,440,000 £6,000 to £7,000 1,160,000 £7,000 to £8,000 1,590,000 £8,000 to £10,000 2,950,000 £10,000 to £12,000 2,760,000 £12,000 to £15,000 3,650,000 £15,000 to £20,000 4,950,000 £20,000 to £30,000 6,000,000 £30,000 to £50,000 4,090,000 £50,000 to £70,000 859,000 £70,000 to £100,000 410,000 £100,000 to £200,000 300,000 £200,000 to £500,000 89,000 £500,000 to £1 million 16,000 Over £1 million 6,000 If we're splitting it into three equally sized groups, then of the 30 million tax payers in the country, the bottom ten million earn £12,000 or less, the middle ten million earn up to £30,000 and the top ten million earn more than that. Even if you try to make a pyramid of pay, it's very difficult to say tou're working class if you earn more than £20k... ewerk 31195
I wouldn't think of those on £50k+ as upper class, it's only the few percent at the very top who I would consider as UC.

I started my employed life as working class and as my salary and level of reponsibility went up so I guess did my class rating.

I watched Live at the Apollo the other night and Reginald D Hunter was on claiming we don’t have large amounts of racism in this country as we are too busy marginalising ourselves by putting people in the classes. Just like that 2 Ronnie’s sketch. We even have some new ones lower working class and none working class
