ewerk 31195
Replacing £175k/week sub Torres with £90k/week sub Remy. Not exactly big boots to fill. More likely to be their replacement for Ba IMO.

ewerk 31195
Drogba will play more minutes for Chelsea this season than Remy. FACT.
Howay 12496
So can they switch targets to their back up plan now? They had a list of strikers that they've been watching for all the years they've not bothered buying one right? 2 signings scouted and lined up for each position is what they used to claim isn't it? jonasjuice 0
Remy's definitely good enough to be a very good squad player for a title chasing team, as long as he keeps the right attitude when he's not playing the big games all that often. Think Costa will see enough injuries/rest to keep Remy happy anyway. He's got a great touch, finish, pace and can beat a man. Can't see how he could fail to get a decent haul with the players Chelsea have behind him. Will be seen as a bargain which their rivals were foolish to overlook in hindsight imo. toonotl 3106
He'll get plenty of games at Chelsea. We were never going to sign him. He obviously wants way more in wages than the fat prick is willing to pay.
Dr Gloom 22143
Chelsea: champions league football, title challengers, top money, service from Fabregas and Hazard. Us: stated aim to survive. No ambition to challenge top 6 or compete in cups. Super sub Obertan coming on to change the game. Difficult decision

TheMoog 0
Not being funny but he'll never get off the Chelsea bench, certainly not on anywhere near a regular fashion. He's another Demba Ba signing for them, he'll sit it out for a year gathering dust and losing his ability then get shipped off to a second rate foreign team and forgotten about. He will need to forget about any possibility of a future international career too, all seems a bit of a wasted of talent really.

Could have played every game for us he also knew if he didn't fancy playing Pardew would lie for him and pretend he was injured. Fanks for saving us from relegation Loic, Mike says fanks as well. trophyshy 7084
Pardew would have wasted his talent eventually. At least this way Remy can afford more indiscretions.
ClubSpinDoctor 0
Even as a toon fan, if I was given the choice now I'd go to Chelsea before I played for Pardew and Mike. Dr Gloom 22143
remy will do well at chelsea. i won't be surprised if he gets a good run in the first team at some point for them.
Rayvin 5295
He might do, I suppose, but I think he's more likely to be the Demba Ba replacement. Ultimately, he's not going to be the number one choice there at any point. If Costa gets injured, they'll probably buy someone else in January.
