Cisse gets a proper dogging for the same thing...don't buy for a minute that Cisse couldn't still be leading the line for us, short memories some on here... aimaad22 4222
Agreed. Cisse in the centre with Remy on the left would be interesting. Of course his work rate may concern Pardew. I think Gouffran needs a break though, has looked tired for a while now.
Howmanheyman 33828
He's had 3 chances today he should have buried. His shots have looked a bit tame lately it has to be said. Think we really need to start to involve Cisse as the main striker again. Crackers giving up on him considering the investment and the proof of his goals when on song and confident. Unless we get a good offer for him or get better strikers in then we're wasting him imo.
Holden McGroin 6783
If we play Cabaye in the hole then Ben Arfa should be in the team. Especially when Debuchy is out.
aimaad22 4222
Cabaye in the hole is wasted imo. He should be in the thick of things in the middle of the park.
TobamorisRevenge 0
"It's yet to be confirmed when the appeals will be heard but unless they happen ahead of this weekend's games, both players will be entitled to play for their clubs - meaning that Remy can line up against the mackems on Saturday." thats pretty sneaky of the club tbh! Hope it comes off, gives de jong time to bed in.....

Happy Face 29
Looking at this previous case of a Tuesday game it sounds like the FA respond before a weekend game... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11686/7525715/doyley-wins-red-card-appeal It was late thursday that the decision was announced. BigWalrus 0
So Johnson doesn't even get a yellow, for starting a fight. He didn't even get a yellow for raking his studs down Debuchy either. Meh. What's done is done. The stage is set for De Jong.
Howay 12496
What was it that Sissoko got booked for by the way? the commentary was Arabic on my stream and I missed the actual incident. From the replays it just looked like the keeper booted it off him and he was booked. Agree with Big Walrus on the Johnson thing mind, there was a number of their players that should have received bookings and didn't as well. Remy was an idiot for doing what he did tbh, just hope it doesn't cost us on saturday.

Howay 12496
Aye, that's why he was booked. "Not retreating". Shocking when you consider how another 9 players were in that area as the ball had been collected by Ruddy about 3 seconds before. Completely unfair card, it's not like Ruddy was forced to kick it from that spot like a free kick anyway. What made it worse is that yellow was in between two shocking tackles made by Norwich players who got nowt for them.

ULSTER MAG 0
FA really like to make it up as they go along, cheating really does pay.
PaddockLad 17643
Johnsons should've been upheld for simulation on principle of him being a fucking wuss He cheated to get Remy sent off then is let off the red despite playing a full part in the violent conduct which lead to the "head but"......when I were a lad if you raised your hands for any reason on the pitch you were off...what happened to that?.... Brock Manson 0
Utterly baffling. If you want to stamp out that sort of behaviour, you've got to uphold both reds. Punishing johnny foreigner perhaps?
Howay 12496
So since it clearly wasn't a headbutt what was it Remy did to deserve a straight red card? (unless the FA lot are so sheltered that is what a headbutt looks like to them) because there are a lot of these 'head to head' incidences in the Premiership except more often than not both players stay on their feet and are pulled apart, no one is sent off. On video evidence it's clear it isn't a headbutt so surely if this is a straight red we should see a straight red every single time we see these head to head stand offs. acrossthepond 878
That's fucking bullshit. Another decision made against us by our friends at the FA. Did Ashley forget the Christmas cards or something?
Ausman 0
I wouldn't expect nothing else from this FA, when it concerns us. It's a fucking joke!
