Park Life 71
He looks pretty average tbf. Slightly better than Shola.

hostile_statue 0
Yeah, Shola has scored a total of 9 league goals over the last 3 seasons whereas Gomis has scored 10 or more every season since 2006/2007.
adios 717
A few papers were running this story during the week which is where I think I saw it first via twitter. Â "Lyon newspaper Le Progres claims 100% that Bafetimbi Gomis wants to stay in France and prefers a move to Marseille over all others". Â I hope he does come but I certainly think its the player thats hoping Marseille up their interest rather than agents etc holding up the deal. so no quotes from the player then? Christmas Tree 4711
so no quotes from the player then? Doesn't usually work like that though. Â I mean we all know Rooney wants away but there's been no direct quotes in the last few weeks. Â Anyway, if no one comes in for him he might come. Monroe Transfer 0
I think we should tell this cunt to fuck off and move on. It's obvious he doesn't want to come to England, probably knows he'll get found out as mediocre, if he plays in England. Â It's not obvious at all, he's said anid done things to the contrary. Â The problem does not appear to be Gomis himself but things around him.

rogerbarton 24
If we do sign Gomis, how are we going to play? Is he really going to try and play two up front with Gomis and Cisse? It wouldn't surprise me - Gomis is exactly the kind of player Pardew would like, since it would enable us to play lump it up there football with a degree of success. Does anyone think it could be a successful partnership? How many Premier League teams play with two out and out strikers any more?
