Anorthernsoul 1221
Clubs are spending more than fucking ever (obviously apart from us).

Gemmill 46031
Aye its clearly having fuck all effect and they know that FIFA will likely do fuck all about it. This has been a seemingly quite quiet window and yet haven't Chelsea shelled a good 60 million out or something? Football can lick my plums. ewerk 31204
In fairness it has stopped the likes of City and Chelsea from spending megabucks on Cavani. The money that other clubs are spending is largely backed by the increased TV money.
desmondTUTU 0
How can we blame the other clubs for spending lots of money in the window when we haven't spent any?
Anorthernsoul 1221
I think your missing the point of the thread. FIFA signed off the new rules to curb the ludicrous spending in Europe, but it is doing nothing of the sort.
desmondTUTU 0
Has anybody broken the rules?
Anorthernsoul 1221
Still, the point alludes you. The top clubs will play the rules to suit them, meaning the chasing clubs will see a bigger gap arise meaning it will become near enough impossible to bridge it. In other words the whole thing is detrimental to the modern game. The polar opposite of the whole original ethos. ewerk 31204
£53m and £23m respectively, not really mental amounts and almost certainly with the FFP levels.
Howmanheyman 33845
You can overspend as long as it falls within a 3 year budget, your punishment is some time out of Europe I believe? It's ok if you had cash injections before a certain date, Chelsea, Man City etc are fucking cushty darza. What a joke.
