scoobos 298
Provident's alright, my mum still uses them even though shes not short of money - she sees the vouchers as a way to budget , rather than going and using her bank card.. Weird, but she likes it. They've always been great with her - but its been the same guy for 20 years.

Rayvin 5223
Cisse made to train on his own today after refusing to wear a Wonga shirt That'll be great for morale. Isolate members of the team as a result of their personal beliefs.

Monroe Transfer 0
Cisse made to train on his own today after refusing to wear a Wonga shirt According to the Mirror. Not saying it's a false story, just waiting on more sources.
JoCo85 0
Was reading somewhere its due to Ramadan, apparently inter Milan does something similar. God knows if its true, or why tiote isn't doing it if that's the case.
Kid Dynamite 7033
Someone just suggested that on twitter. It's bollocks because we have another 4 or 5 players in the squad who are also fasting and trained with the rest of the squad
Isegrim 9798
Cisse made to train on his own today after refusing to wear a Wonga shirt Maybe not on his own but in an offside position...

ewerk 30632
He's very well paid by the club and part of that is to wear the club kit. He's being a dickhead tbh.
Kid Dynamite 7033
Partially agree but there is also a noticeable difference between the practices of Northern Rock and Wonga. You only need to check the outrage on here when they were announced as sponsors as opposed to the total indifference when Northern Rock were announced. Nothing wrong with sticking up for your beliefs, even in the workplace
Andrew 4771
Saw it mentioned it was actually down to him arriving back later than other players and needing to run to fitness tests the others had all already finished.

Christmas Tree 4728
Cisse hasn't travelled!
Christmas Tree 4728
Why I understand his issues, I don't see why he couldn't still travel. Unless its the club decision. Surely it would be more beneficial for him to be training with the team than sat alone at the gym.
JaMoUsE 0
unless the club want rid, be interesting if they try and play hard ball to get rid then bring in remy and bent. bet Anzhi were willing to pay 15m+ for cisse.
Kid Dynamite 7033
This is just brilliant. Shola wants to leave, we haven't replaced Ba, missed out on Aubemayang, Carroll and Bony and now our last remaining goal scorer is getting pushed towards the door over his religious beliefs
Christmas Tree 4728
It is understood that Cisse wanted to travel but told he couldn't until Wonga dispute is resolved. Story is developing #nufc Ryder
David Kelly 1245
Who's making decisions like that within the club? I can't see why it benefits the club not to let him travel even if he can't play (which I'm not sure would be the case anyway).
ewerk 30632
Worried about photographs of him training in the non-branded gear? Or maybe just playing hard ball. Edited July 17, 2013 by ewerk
David Kelly 1245
Would the sponsors be worried about him training in non branded gear? Does that form part of sponsorship these days? I'm sure he could train with no top on at all if it's a problem. It's not likely to be cold in Portugal! If it's the club playing hardball I think it's highly unlikely to work in this age of player power.
PaddockLad 17283
I take it the problem is Virgin and Barclays offer specific Islam friendly products and Wonga don't?....
