Brock Manson 0
Just seen My Name Is Earl and thought it wasn't too bad, reminded me of Scrubs a bit, don't know if it was by the same writers or not. There have been some awful comedies recently, I didn't think Nighty Night should've been given a new series for one thing. 79010 When Earl tries to quit smoking: "I don't want to die" "I don't want to die" *takes a drag* "Giving up smokin is hard." Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Nomination for worst- that new Ben Elton one, is it Blessed? It's got Ardal O'Hanlon (sp) and Mel (of Mel & Sue) in it. Total shit.
Hatful Of Hollow 0
Anyone remember Green Wing? I've just downloaded the first series, excellent stuff. I never missed an episode when it was on Channel 4, apparantly it's being released on DVD, although i'm not sure when. Dr Alan Statham (Mark Heap) is the standout character, along with Sue White. Peep Show and Extras are also two of my favourites.

Marke Heap as ever was fantastic, he's a comedy legend though the average person in the street wouldn't know him or his work.

luckyluke 2
I've just been watching the second series of Peep Show. It's fantastic, but like the Office if I watch too many episodes at once I start feeling suicidal.

Radgina 1
Another massively under-rated show is Early Doors. The writing and acting is priceless. 79604 me loved that .....what swung it for me and my significant other was the similarity between every single character versus those in our local it was so written about our pals !!! sweetleftpeg 0
I really liked Early Doors. I thought My Name is Earl is looking alright as well. Probably the best comedy that's on at the moment is Arrested Development, I just wish the BBC wouls stop fucking about with the times. Also a special mention to Black Books, which I thought was very funny and hasn't been mentioned on this thread yet.

adios 717
Can I just reiterate I hate little Britain. 80220 I heard the other day that one of my favourite Little Britain characters, Anne the nutter, was stolen from a bit of ad-lib the League of Gentlemen lads were doing when Walliams was hanging around with them, don't know if that's true. luckyluke 2
Can I just reiterate I hate little Britain. 80220 You're not alone. God knows how they managed to stretch it to three series. I got a book of scripts for Christmas, took it back first chance I got! Shameless is brilliant, but does that count as drama or comedy or both?
