Howmanheyman 32796
Overheard a local journalist yesterday who may, or may not, have made a complete tit of himself on Talksport a while back assure one of his sources on his mobile that "....If you keep feeding me this kinda stuff I'll make sure it gets in the paper." in a loud voice in ASDA with a serious look on his face. (It was was probably Margaret from the NUFC canteen complaining about where the hell was she was going to source the Frogs legs for next fridays 'French day' menu?) ChezGiven 0
Unless it is the same PR agency and their "public relations exercises" they relied on in the Keegan case ... Great point, well made. Thanks Helmut.

mincepie 0
I reckon you can say what you want to try and make yourselves feel better. It's highly unlikely that 3 seperate publications would run a complete cock and bull story. It was an obvious risk of our policy, now its happening - burying your head in the sand isnt the answer. I believe people are kidding themselves, because the alternative is (in my view) the truth - you accept that commercialism has ruined the top flight and that finally we are a victim of it. We will never get Ashley out for as long as he sees a personal benefit to himself. The problems lie much higher than the players or the manager, but we are powerless to do anything about it. So instead we'll pretend the media are liars everytime and everything is hunky dory. If you have a first team that comprises of the makeup of ours, cliques are going to happen. Maybe not 100% , but what I am 100% on is that you cannot buy 5 players all from outside the league, in January and expect them to turn the team around instantly. Next year, we'll see the quality of these signings, one way or the other. very good, much better than these boo hoo i don't want to believe this so I'll pretend that its just been made up by a nasty journalist comments

Trying to portray themselves as some defenders of free speech is ridiculous, how many reporters get banned from grounds for a bit ffs.

David Kelly 1224
It's a staggeringly inaccurate assessment of the situation today given the Wigan result last night. The draw with West Ham means we have to win one of our remaining games to have a chance of staying up does it? Despite the fact that we're three points clear of Wigan who play Arsenal away next. In all likelyhood, one point will be enough to keep us up but it's also quite posiible that we already have enough. But don't let that stop you from having a dig Luke! PaddockLad 17115
Luke will no doubt file this misleading pile of bollocks under "not me guv, someone else wrote the headline!" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/10046444/Fabricio-Coloccini-admits-there-were-divisions-in-Newcastle-squad-as-David-Ginola-blasts-French-contingent.html

Nobody wants to go down here, we are all fighting together', he's still treating it as a vindication.

Happy Face 29
So despite the fact that Coloccini has said 'The manager and the players are together. Nobody wants to go down here, we are all fighting together', he's still treating it as a vindication. He's probably basing his vindication more on the other quote.... When asked if there had been any divisions, Coloccini told the Newcastle Chronicle: "Yes, of course"
