McFaul 35
http://www.dailymail...-way-court.html Apparently he's fucked. We definitely could do with a few more points. Shola better start earning his money or stick Sissoko up front.
Andrew 4857
I'd be sticking gouffran up as an out and out striker and getting Ben arfa back into the starting lineup. What's the story with cisse, what sort of injury, source etc ?
Christmas Tree 4827
If Pardew had any sense he would recall Ferguson and Ameobi to give us some alternatives off the bench, particularly if we play Gouffran up front and particularly bearing in mind HBA seems fucked and only available for bit performances. Seriously though, if HBA is too unfit to start and Gouffran plays up top, who oh who is going to get balls into the box from the wings?

BigWalrus 0
Aye, he's got a cracked rib and has been playing through the pain barrier. He's off to France to see a specialist. Gouffran could do the business as a stand alone striker. His movement is good and awareness of team mates is also canny. I'd probably go with Shola and Gouffran up front. Shaney, Shaney, give me your answer, do, I'm half crazy all for the love of you. BigWalrus 0
Why do our french speakers go back to France for treatment. They believe that the Clairefontaine centre (basically the French FA's main base) is where the best treatment is provided, and prefer to go back there. Personally I think the club should keep their medical treatment inhouse, but it may be that they are perfectly happy with them going to France. I know that Clairefontaine has a pretty good reputation, so it's not as if they're getting some sort of back street doctor working on them. BigWalrus 0
Coincidence? Maybe we should get Clarky in. It's the arse end of the Championship season, against a load of poor sides with little to play for. Ferguson has played his part at Birmingham, but he needs another season on loan to have a chance of developing into a PL regular. I think we can safely say that Pardew won't recall Shane Ferguson in response to Papiss Cisse having a cracked rib.

David Kelly 1260
Shaney never created many chances (aside from that one two or three game spell he had). With Ben Arfa back around the team and Sissoko able to play wide (although I've not been massively impressed with him wide when we've used him there) there's no way Shane is coming back and no need to do it. As for Ameobi, other than the one goal, I understand he's not been impressive at the smoggies!

Tom 14013
This is why we should buy replacements for players we sell. Best Lovenkrands Ba Ranger (contract terminated) None of which have been replaced. Personally I would throw Gouffran up front as he was a goal every other game as a CF for Bordeaux - this being his best ever season for them as a forward - so whether it was a purple patch - who knows. What's the deal with Ben Arfa/Marvueax injuries? I wouldn't mind a 4-3-3 with Gourffran in the middle & Marv/Ben Arfa alternating flanks. Campbell might be worth a shout playing off him in a forward pairing, a kind of little man/midget forward line. A parody of the big man little man.
