Pardew wants to make sure he keeps him fresh for the last game of the season, which could be the most important game of the season. And now there is only two teams between us and relegation. He doesn't tell them to sit back. He doesn't say "Right lads go out and be nervy"...it's the players that do that. Pardew's not made a defensive change in weeks either. He brings on Shola or Ben Arfa or Campbell and that, but still gets this abuse for apparently going defensive. So why does it happen and whose fault is it? Well first choice Ben Arfa for starters. And yes I'd try Campbell before Shola. The other 2 teams on 37 point would also have to match us. Feel fairly calm about the whole situation and am just looking forward to this season being over.
