My team for this would be.

Krul

Debuchy Taylor. Mbwia. Jonas

Sissoko Cabaye

HBA. Marveaux. Gouffran

Cisse

Strong across the back four. Plenty of skill and surging runs from Sissoko and Cabaye. Great hold up and forward play from Marveaux, HBA and Gouffran.

Cisse just popping them in for fun.

Howay Alan, just once for me.

Hopefully Debuchy and Tiote are also back for it. Perch and HBA as well and it would be a huge boost. No injuries on Thursday would be nice.

I'd say Santon is out for the season looking at that yesterday.

Don't think sissoko is likely to play that deep.

I don't think cabaye is suited to it either tbh. Would much rather he played a more advanced role.

HBA wont start CT, even Pardew will learn from last time. Seemingly not yourself mind.

Do you mean in Russia?

If so Im not sure what the comparison is to playing at St James. If HBA feels right and trains fully all week then I don't see the problem?

Well this is a turn up for the books, me defending Jonas.

It might not work out but he is a grafter and at times gets stuck in and has out previous decent performances in there.

I would prefer him over Santon no problem, however Haidara looks like he's going to be tasty.

Would definitely have no worries about Jonas there against the mackems. Talking of which when is over the wall back.

Bring Shola on for the second half to see their hideous fizzocks fall. I wouldn't risk HBA.

Gardner banned so that's their penalty taker gone and Graham questionable due to a knee injury...I'm worried that they're a little too there for the taking and we'll be too confident.

Would love to stick a few past them but any kind of a win will do given the circumstance.

I'd prefer Ben Arfa not to play on Thursday and not to start on Sunday.

If we brought on Ben Arfa and Shola as a double sub in the second half it would be worth a goal psychologically.

Liking your avatar, you sexy bastard.
