After penning a song about 'Mr O'Neill' his next one is a tribute to 'Miss Candy', his favourite sex-worker, followed by 'Mrs Bradshaw', his Social Worker, 'Mr Anderson', his case manager at the Hetton-le-Hole job centre and finally 'Miss Diane' as his tribute to the Crossroads Manageress much loved by himself and his hero, Benny. PaddockLad 17727
The sad thing is nobody knows what fascism is. Europe would be a far better place under fascist rule. Is this Facism?.... Fascism (pron.: /ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism[1][2] that came to prominence in mid-20th century Europe. Fascists seek to unify their nation through a totalitarian state that seeks the mass mobilization of the national community,[3][4] relying on a vanguard party to initiate a revolution to organize the nation on fascist principles.[5] Hostile to liberal democracy, socialism, and communism, fascist movements share certain common features, including the veneration of the state, a devotion to a strong leader, and an emphasis on ultranationalism, ethnocentrism, and militarism. Fascism views political violence, war, and imperialism as a means to achieve national rejuvenation[3][6][7][8] and asserts that "superior" nations and races should attain living space by displacing weak and inferior ones.[9] Fascist ideology consistently invoked the primacy of the state. Strong and charismatic leaders such as Benito Mussolini in Italy and Adolf Hitler in Germany embodied the state and claimed indisputable power. Fascism borrowed theories and terminology from socialism but applied them to what it saw as the more significant conflict between nations and races rather than to class conflict, and focused on ending the divisions between classes within the nation.[10] It advocates a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky to secure national self-sufficiency and independence through protectionist and interventionist economic policies.[11] Fascism opposed socialist and communist ideology but was also critical of some aspects of capitalism, arguing for what is sometimes called a Third Position between capitalism and Marxist socialism.[12] Fascist movements emphasized a belligerent, virulent form of nationalism (chauvinism) and a fear of foreign people (xenophobia), which they frequently linked to an exaggerated ethnocentrism. The typical fascist state also embraced militarism, a belief in the rigors and virtues of military life as an individual and national ideal, meaning much of public life is organized along military lines and an emphasis is put on uniforms, parades, and monumental architecture. That song goodbye Mr O'Neyl. Can I say hand on heart, I hope di Canio keeps them up. I think they need 7 points from Stoke, Southampton and the blue dippers at home, and Villa away. I'd rather have them up than Villa.

McFaul 35
This whole debate on racism and fascism is getting on my tits already. Fascism is ultra nationalism, that's his point of view. Since he's been in England he's voiced his political views once, in an interview which he claims was taken out of context. So fuck in my view. He hasn't broken any laws, surely the very fabric of a democratic state allows people to hold any views they want within the spectrum of the law, so people saying he shouldn't be given this job and that job, are in effect removing civil liberty and our right to be free to think what we like. It's boring as fuck now, as long as he doesn't break the law who gives a fuck? At the end of the day, I think it'll be a brilliant appointment for Sunderland. I don't know if he'll keep them up, but they'll come back stronger than before if they do go down in my view.

Happy Face 29
All this stick he's getting for his political views is leaving a sour taste with me tbh. We've employed blokes convicted for racist violence in the recent past in Bowyer and Woodgate. Look up the last few comments made on here about Woodgate. There is certainly no shame in them. Souness went on telly talking about "coloured" players. Emre's one of the most notorious racists in the game. Delighted to see the mackems getting negative publicity, but nowt I think the majority of clubs in the land can claim to be whiter than white on. It is hilarious that this goes to the heart of the very parochial arguments between the fans and their ridiculous ideas of being more 'moral' and 'classy' and at the same time is playing out in the national press as an affront to decency and british values You couldnt have scripted it. Not in the slightest bit offended personally but who cares, stoke the fires of outrage i say.

Sandancer82 0
You'll still be claiming the three points in the derby! :-( And I'm now fully accepting that we are going down! Overly pessimistic? Maybe! And I'm not one for calling for Manager's heads on a kneejerk, but I think the sacking of MON was a good month over due and I fear it might all be too late for any new manager to come in and save the day! Surely PDC cannot be any worse, in the tactical sense, than MON! Surely not!!! At least he might actually start getting us to attack - properly!!
