Monkeys Fist 42449
What's that logo? I really recognise it. Google says it's How to Train Your Dragon. There goes your high-brow pretense. Edit: That went a long time ago tbf. Is the right answer tbh he probably thinks it's the "No Fear" logo from his clothes back in his spide days
Howmanheyman 33223
Going for £19.99 in a sale if you're quick. (They don't have any left in my size. For some reason traditional 'medium' 38"-40" is described as 'small' on there.) http://www.toffs.com/newcastle-united-19801982-away-retro-football-shirt

ClubSpinDoctor 0
That should be our away shirt, I like it.
aimaad22 4156
Yes a black and white away kit makes perfect sense.
ewerk 30611
A black and white 2nd strip somewhat defeats the purpose of having a 2nd strip.
Tom 14011
Well the home kit is mainly black...and that kit is mainly white.

Yes a black and white away kit makes perfect sense. Who would we play that would clash with both shirts like? aimaad22 4156
The general idea is to have a different colour to avoid any possible confusion. Swansea, West Brom off the top of my head. I agree its a lovely shirt though. Way better than our new home kit.

Happy Face 29
The Arsenal Puma deal announced in January was £150m for 5 years. Wonder if we're close to that amount for double the length.
aimaad22 4156
Probably half of it for double the length.
Happy Face 29
In 12/13 we started a new extension with Puma. We were in Europe having finished 5th the season before. Yet our commercial income dropped £2m. Was the Virgin deal that much less than Northern Rock?
Gemmill 44882
Same terms as the latest NR deal, but a lot less than the earlier ones before NR and NUFC went to shit.
Happy Face 29
That's what I thought. It's got me bamboozled. The cynic in me is thinking that rather than paying Newcastle for any strip deal, PUMA are giving Sports Direct a good deal on stock.
The Fish 10857
Wonder if we'll see an advert for the new deal, similar to Arsene's cameo in this one

Happy Face 29
Any details or links? Any idea what the club are getting? Like the previous extension and the original Puma deal, no details available anywhere. We'll just have to wait and see if commercial income takes a big leap towards recovery next season when the accounts come out for that year in March 2016. I doubt it. Howmanheyman 33223
I expect some toady working for the club will mention that it's 'The biggest kit deal this clab has eva had' without going into numbers, by the way.
