The Fish 10681
Guess who comes bottom? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/12028498/Premier-League-owners-ranked-and-rated-where-do-your-clubs-custodians-stand.html?frame=3515650 The gays? fwiw, the most frustrating thing is that this club would be so easily to run well. It's already got a global brand you can sell to sponsors, it's already got a loyal and populous support, it's already got a core of top half players*, training ground is of a high standard and has a large catchment area to find young talent in an area that is passionate about the sport. *who are mostly playing shit at the moment, admittedly. Happy Face 29
Palace are now into their third season at the top level, playing exciting football with one of England’s sharpest managerial minds in the dug-out Better than having one of England's sharpest managerial heads out of the dug-out and butting into opposition players I suppose. Alex 34765
So this is going to be the week when Mike Ashley can rightly say he is getting the hang of this football lark. European ties against the likes of Benfica in April A transfer / wage system that works A squad that just keeps getting better Great season ticket deals for fans And a profit making football club And all this before the the big bucks TV money rolls in. Of course it hasn't been delivered without pain, but few revolutions are smooth. We will rightly hear all sorts of praise for dynamic duo this week and once again our club will be heralded as the blue print for most clubs to follow. So where now? What about the next few years? How can we as a club take advantage of this solid foundation and become a regular top four challenger? Just felt like quoting the OP again. Happy Face 29
Rangers say Mike Ashley was repaid his £5m loan yesterday. Securities will not be released until final working day of this year. Sports Direct's QC says he was unaware the £5m had been repaid. This is better than A Few Good Men YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!
Happy Face 29
So no Jail for Mr King and a bitch slap for Ashley. Unfortunately it was always more trouble making than having an actual case. Highly recommend reading the full timeline from 10.30am this morning. Judge ragdolled Sports Direct from start to finish. Two more applications to be heard from 10am tomorrow.
