I certainly don’t see there being any contractual agreement being in place if you’re on about the comments about every penny generated. In any case you could just say we bid for player(s) who decided they didn’t want to sign for us When a manager is not involved in the actual money side of incoming transfers there is always the danger that players don't sign for us with the manager never knowing the real reason why they never signed. Less chance of dodgy dealings though.

ohhh_yeah 2964
A STAND AGAINST ASHLEY We are the London Magpie Group – a newly formed collection of passionate Newcastle United fans based in London and the south of England. Our aim is to support the club on and off the pitch, and to organise & assist various peaceful protests and demonstrations in collaboration with other NUFC fans groups both in Newcastle & elsewhere to help rid our once-great club of our disinterested and disrespectful owner. We’re experiencing the culmination of 11 years of neglect and we just cannot sit back and allow this to happen. Enough is enough. Newcastle United is a huge club with legendary support a rich history of passion both from the supporters and great managers like Kevin Keegan, Sir Bobby Robson and lately Rafa Benitez. The fans are spread far and wide with a huge number in the nation’s capital and we exist only to provide an outlet for those fellow exiled fans to show their support for the club that means everything to them. Alongside other supporter groups, we are united in the cause. We will not stop until Ashley and his associates are gone from our club http://londonmagpiegroup.co.uk/

trooper 940
I've just read this its so true The playing team has become almost unwatchable, every Saturday we witness 90 minutes of grim, negative battle for survival rather than any attempt to entertain or win a football match. Monkeys Fist 42378
Aye, if enough people did it I could see it royally pissing him off. Mind you, he’s shown that he’s thin-skinned enough to respond in kind, so it’s a dangerous game.

PaddockLad 17239
The last major boycott...after Keegan walked.....20,577 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_cup/7626827.stm Easier to achieve in a one off cup game that’s not included on your ST I think 20k staying away v Wolves will be a major achievement. Thing is we all went back after the Spurs game as if nothing had happened...if we are intent on making a real point the 20k will have to stay away to achieve anything..can’t see that happening..but it’s encouraging that people are making an effort to actually send the message..
