I haven't followed this very closely but so far he's actually done nothing illegal as far as I can see. The employment agencies who supply the temp staff have also said they are adhering to employment law.

As for being a monster. Self made man whose built a business that keeps 27,000 in work.

Now Uber......

I'm sure he's done nowt illegal and his shop comply with employment laws.

The hope is that this renewed anger leads to a change in employment laws though.

Tories can't be on the side of hard workers AND sit idle while hard workers are left with less than minimum pay after fines and working hours for free.

What's Uber doing that's illegal?

Have you ever been on a jury?

I can just imagine you say "well he says he didn't do it and that's good enough for me".

So this is going to be the week when Mike Ashley can rightly say he is getting the hang of this football lark.

European ties against the likes of Benfica in April

A transfer / wage system that works

A squad that just keeps getting better

Great season ticket deals for fans

And a profit making football club

And all this before the the big bucks TV money rolls in.

Of course it hasn't been delivered without pain, but few revolutions are smooth.

We will rightly hear all sorts of praise for dynamic duo this week and once again our club will be heralded as the blue print for most clubs to follow.

So where now? What about the next few years? How can we as a club take advantage of this solid foundation and become a regular top four challenger?

Missed a bit, HF

I think the docking of pay by 15 minutes for being 1 minute late is potentially illegal. Certainly loads of stuff contravening the EC's Working Time Directive.

Our place doesn't dock you by the exact amount of minutes you're late by. I can't remember if it's 10 or 15 minutes but i've clocked in minute late before and then made a point of grabbing a coffee and a smoke before starting and then had to make the point that I'm not doing any charity work for them. But I'm rebelious like that.

Mobiles are banned as well unless you have permission from management in certain circumstances. My clapped out Renault is in getting ficed tomorrow so I asked my shift manager yesterday if i hadn't heard from the garage by the start of my shift if it was okay to have my mobile on to take the call when it came. The stumpy spectacled little arsehole said no so I pulled him an hour later and told him I might be late in on Wednesday due to transportation issues. I only live a short walk away like but he's unlikely to know that, the cunt. Anyway the bigger companies get the more arseholey they get. We can't even have a radio on nowadays.

Imagine if Ashley got shoppers to rate the store staff after each sale and then using that information to decide whether to sack them or not.

Imagine the outcry

Well that'd be highly unusual for a shop. Y'know given most people who shop in Sports Direct don't expect, nor demand much from the staff. Not that unusual for some kind of service though.

Hey, here's a thought, why not figure a way for your passengers to rate you? It might improve your tips if you got feedback on what people find really, really annoying about you.

When I knew I'd be docked 15 mins for being a minute late I always headed for a 14 min cup of coffee in the canteen.

He wouldn't do it because he's not arsed about the customer experience to that extent and wouldn't pay for the resources involved in gathering the data and processing it either so it's daft comparison.
