Monroe Transfer 0
No doubt the media will be full of praise for Wigan now. "Another great escape" "Martinez does it again"
Nyff 0
Sissoko didn't turn up today. Tiote was rubbish. Cisse poor but didn't get much service...just not a lot went right. The two injuries messed up any rhythm we had and as has been said, the officiating was poor. Glad Santon finally got his goal.
BigWalrus 0
Have we? Well, post Sunderland vs Norwich we have. Norwich have climbed above us compared with yesterday.

aimaad22 4222
And then they say respect the ref. They'll be respected when they stop being absolute dickheads. What a dirty fucking asshole you are Halsey. Nightmarish evening this. With all these injuries who knows where we'll be after the next couple of games. Dr Gloom 22142
You can't beat incompetence of that magnitude. Hard done by isn't even in it. That was a diabolical performance by Halsey and it's utterly wrecked that game of football. Fair play to Wigan as they matched us thoroughly but they must know in their heart of hearts that they never deserved that. They were slightly better than us tbf, if you take the refereeing holocaust out of the picture.

We started okay things went down hill when players started pulling up. It's very difficult to get your head straight when your mate looks like he mightn't walk again. Monroe Transfer 0
They were slightly better than us tbf, if you take the refereeing holocaust out of the picture. But you could also say that we had two injuries that disrupted our first half and changed the shape - and mentality - of the team. We weren't good enough with that said but they weren't anything special. A draw would have been a fair result, but if either side deserved to win it was them. I can live with that but it's everything else that has made it feel so much worse. Absolutely disgusted with the ref today and Wigan know they've been very, very lucky today. Yes but we would have gotten a result if not for that shambles of ref. We've been poor in the last 3 games now. And the injuries have started coming again just when you thought we might make something of it in Europe. Really hope Cabaye and Debuchy will be back soon. Noelie 103
Wigan deserved the win but not that way. First half we posed no threat at all except for 2 corners. Sloppy goal. Sissoko was a force going nowhere. Cisse is like a spent force passenger getting a free ride on the bus. Credit to Santon. Tiote ....... huh, can be brilliant, can be dreadful, and a liability to boot. Thought we were going to get a point, oh woe is me.
