Brock Manson 0
Weimann looked great against Reading, but only because he was playing on the right and running at Ian Harte.
Kid Dynamite 7172
This Benteke, I'm sorry like he's scored a few goals but I'll tell you now there's too much fuss being made of him. A Emile Heskey like career beckons imo. I'd have Remy in a heart beat if QPR go down, I'd also have the rough diamond that is Taraabt. He's only just turned 22, scored nearly 1 in 2 in the best Belgian side of my lifetime as well as a similar ratio at Genk and in a shit Villa side. He's about as far away from Heskey as you can get ffs Speaks volumes that you think he is shit but would take Taraabt Edited March 12, 2013 by TheRollingStones

David Kelly 1260
Tarrabt is another Lua Lua for me. When it comes off for him it can look spectacular but more often than you when you watch him you're just thinking pass the fucking ball. I think from all of the teams we're just talking about squad players. There's not one who you think could come in and be picked ahead of what we already have. Aeris 0
Would sign Remy in a heartbeat (the guy who turned us down for QPR), but wouldn't touch Benteke with a barge pole and calls him the new Heskey (rumoured to be the most humble guy in Villa)... age 26, (163 senior games/59 goals), 4 france goals in 17 age 22, (143 senior games/56 goals), 4 belgium goals in 10 I guess McFaul just doesn't like his face... Tom 14013
Remember at anfield when Lua Lua kept about 8 Liverpool players off the ball at the corner flag? If only gifs were so easy to create then!

I was at the opposite end of the pitch in the home end for that game when he was doing that. I hadnt a clue what was going on! Neither did most of the home fans around me. McFaul 35
He's only just turned 22, scored nearly 1 in 2 in the best Belgian side of my lifetime as well as a similar ratio at Genk and in a shit Villa side. He's about as far away from Heskey as you can get ffs Speaks volumes that you think he is shit but would take Taraabt Benteke has about as much finesse as my cock. He's got a decent goalscoring record, not bad at all, lets see if he can do it at the top level consistently over three seasons. 4 Belgian goals in 10 games. So fuck. Crouch got something like 15 in his first 25. Means nothing. I just don't like his style of player, there's a lot of his game is more luck than judgement, he has presence but I don't think he's a top class player and I don't want him here. He's been at Aston Villa two minutes and he's on about playing for bigger clubs, we don't want that type of wank here. His first touch is poor for me, his finishing erratic, although I do concede 12 in 26 games is a decent record, lets see him do it over a number of seasons. Cisse scored more 13 in 14 games by the way. The other bloke Taraabt, if you don't think that boy has unbelievable potential you should never watch football ever again. He's scored goals 99% of world football just couldn't, he very much needs a loving manager though.
Kid Dynamite 7172
He's played 150 games for QPR over 4 seasons. How long do you wait for potential to come good? And as for not wanting Benteke's type at NUFC, you do realise Taraabt has tried for years to engineer moves to Real and PSG, as well as refusing to turn up for an international game cos he was on the bench? The story has probably previously been told starting with '10'.

That's irrelevant, your ridiculous point was Taraabt is shite, the fact Real and PSG even got a mention, even if it is laughable at this stage, highlight he's a hugely gifted player who if managed correctly can do anything he likes in the game. He may be a fancy dan, but he does things very few people in football could dream of, if he's managed properly he can do anything. That's my view. I don't want Benteke here, his attitude with regards to his present employers is a disgrace, and I guarantee now, over three seasons he'll realise Villa is his level at the very best. His best attribute is his size. It's not 3 seasons ago he'd only scored 3 in 18 games for one of the best sides in a shit Belgian league in Standard Liege. I'm far from convinced by him and don't want him here.

Brock Manson 0
Taraabt isn't shite, but he's nothing more than a mid table prem squad player. His worldy goals 99% of footballers couldn't score were pretty much all scored in the Championship where he had time on the ball to do it. Has one of the worst attitudes i've seen in a player too. Gejon 2
Taraabt seems far too selfish, a real one man team (in his head) but not at the level where he can do that in a top division. He may have moments where he does something very few can but if those moments are 6 times a season and the rest of the time he isn't contributing anything then he's just a burden which is why QPR can't rely on him. If he sorts his head out he might go on to be a quality player but I just can't see that happening. I see a Mido like career for the lad.
ewerk 31209
Stevie, you can't go from saying what fantastic potential Taarabt has to saying that Benteke's attitude is a disgrace. Taarabt is a skilful fucker but never going to make it as a top player due to his appalling attitude, loving manager or not.
Kid Dynamite 7172
On a similar note, there are a fair few well known players out of contract this summer. I would take Hangeland on a free for sure
sweetleftpeg 0
Going off seeing them in the flesh against us I would take Kone and Lallana. Lallana especially looks a cracking proper footballer, great at finding space, intelligent on the ball, nice and positive. I wouldn't have Taarabt personally. He's got a lot of ability but he looks like he just plays when he fancies it. Cats for me like.

With the little work he does for them he's still carrying the shite team QPR on his shoulders, and he's not the guy who is in QPR for the money. Play him in a top 7 team and you'll see he would give more of a fuck. Edited March 13, 2013 by Aeris
