CT isn't watching so I'm looking forward to him having more opinions than anyone else about the game later :P

Said I wasn't going, not not watching so Im sure there will be plenty of post match analysis for you to fret about ;)

Would be great to see HBA but part of me wishes we keep him safe for Thursday. Stoke will probably be looking to kick the he'll out of us anyway, maybe a secnd half substitute appearance should be the extent of his involvement today.

Glad Huth is out, he's a fucking animal and canny defender. We really should have more than enough quality to do this lot but the trip to Moscow will have obviously taken it's toll. It'll be interesting to see how Mbiwa deals with their high balls.

Still fancy a win though. Hope Cisse's back.

Hoping for a win but Stoke are a good side. 2-1

They've been horrible on their travels lately. Which makes you think they're bound to get a result sooner rather than later.

Damn it why do I keep thinking that way come match day

A win here would be nice, taking us up level with them on points up in mid table.

It's tight mind. Not much between bottom clubs at all now qpr have started winning. There's usually at least one club cut adrift

I can imagine it being quite frustrating today, Stoke's record is appalling this year - granted - but they concede few goals & will make it hard for us. (only four teams in the league have conceded as few goals away from home as Stoke) Nice to see Huth out as he is a prize Cathword. I've some concerns over the partnership of Taylor/Yanga-Mbiwa - I think it'll be find eventually & YM is obviously class but these things take time - especially against bruisers like Stoke.

Hopefully we get a decent ref so they can't break up the play as much because like Everton - gamesmanship & cheating make up a large part of their plan. I'd like to think the crowd could play a part but not on a sunday & it seldom works at SJP anyway.

If we stay patient & keep them off the ball I can see us getting the the win, we've scored 7 in our last 2 at home so I'd imagine we can continue the trend & get a couple today, Sissoko being the main man perhaps with a Ben Arfa cameo.

We had no issues with Southampton after being in the Ukraine - though we were fortunate on occasions - but I'd like to think after Russia - with 7 first teamers involved to varying degrees we can avoid a hangover & still be fresh. Bearing in mind Southampton were a bigger scalp than Stoke will be today.

There was a crying baby in front of me and some Indian guy on the phone the entire journey behind me so yeah it ranks up there with some of my favourites.

How much did it cost you?

I'm not confident today. Not one bit.

I am, Stoke are absolute shite and in a freefall.

There's no Huth playing to try and snap our players' legs either. Suppose there's still Shawcross but still, we should be seeing off Stoke at home after outscoring Southampton.

Ben arfa not even on the bench? A substitute appearance might have been handy

We're not taking any chances with him before the Anzhi game next week I guess. I agree he should be saved, since it's a freakin difficult game and we don't have Gouffran in that one.

Wish we'd signed N'Zonzi.

Walters isn't a footballer, just a concrete man who barges into people.

I'd take Walters over Obertan any day.... and we don't need N'Zonzi, Tiote is infact better.
