Tooj 17
His distribution today was excellent I thought. Not just that unbelievable throw but some of his drilled kicks out to our team mates were class too. Obviously not in the same class as Krul but Krul could certainly pick up some things from his distribution.
aimaad22 4222
Not a bad 3rd choice keeper to have. That throw that went straight to Sissoko's(think it was) feet in the second half was just incredible!

Kid Dynamite 7172
His kicking first half was woeful like 2J. To the point the crowd was getting on his back. Second half it improved. His shot stopping and cross claiming was very good however
Aeris 0
I loved how Taylor came to pamper him properly everytime he did his job right, good for his confidence throughout the match. We need Krul fit, but now I'm not afraid of seeing Elliot playing the odd league game anymore.

He made a few bad kicks but it was a lot better that Kruls generally but I don't imagine kicking it long is something they teach young Dutch keepers - but he's had plenty time to work on it. Sometimes it's brainless though - trying to pick a pass and losing the ball rather than putting it out of play. It conceded us goals in both the Swansea home & Southampton away games. Caught, punched and distributed very well. Solid No

The Fish 10969
Harper, when fit, isnt he? Nah, not any more. Hasn't featured for ages and Elliot is definitely ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Fish 10969
I expect Harps is finished at the club, isn't he? I'd like to see him do coaching badges and whatnot, but I can't see Ashley being sentimental enough to keep a guy like Harper around simply because of his loyalty
Brock Manson 0
Eliot was getting the nod for Europa games, so at least he's had a little match practice whereas Harper's barely even featured on the bench. Makes more sense to play the guy who's had more games as he'll be sharper. Harper won't be playing for us again I don't think, but it would be good to see him given a coaching role. We are criminally short in coaching staff it seems.

Happy Face 29
That throw was immense. Krul's never thrown a ball like that in all his years. I thought there were some dodgy clearances from him like, but very positive otherwise.
The Fish 10969
He started doing his coaching last year. Point being that even if he gets them, unless he's cheap AND good, he'll not be kept around

Tom 14013
I was hoping that throw would be on YouTube. That's the 'keeper distribution equivalent of Cisse's goal.
