Which United is that then?

If you're going to come on a NUFC board do try to remember our name, unless you support Man U I don't understand you referring to them as simply 'United' as it's almost a term of endearment.

Now be a good lad and don't do it again or I'll get fucking angry.

Welcome to our board. :good:

 Who needs Stevie?

Apologies. Manchester United. This won't be easy for ya. Spurs have only lost once in the last 13 league games and only let in 9 goals in that time.

May the best team win

You've only won 2 out of the last 5 at home though...and that's with Bale and Lennon being in very good nick too...a draw would be a cracking result for us all the same.

True, we have our own shiny new toy though in Holtby who would've worked wonders on the teams who came to WHL and parked the bus (our big weakness is breaking those teams down). I don't expect you to do that though so it should be an open game and great spectacle. Both teams will score IMO just a matter of who does it more

Just pointing out that it's disrespectful to every Geordie I know and for all I know he may be a younger fan who has been brainwashed by the media in this country to refer to Man U as simply 'United'. To be fair to the lad he acknowledged my post so no harm done. :)

Seen him for the Bosch, looked a very good player.Am en route to WHL and a Spurs fan on the train says in the 8th minute there's going to be a sing song in support of Gazza....nice sentiment, but he's not quite deed yet..

As has been said, last year we were without Tiote, (ACN) and Cabaye, (Ray Stubbs) in the middle of the park and we were over run by an in form Spurs with an 'Arry love-in being in full effect due to the England/court business. We should do better this year and I'm hoping our midfield are as aggressive and positive as they were against Chelsea. We're due a win down there and I have another sneaky feeling we will get a draw at worst.

Amazing the amount of people that look back on that game like it's Pardew's fault.

I hate it when Spurs fans come on here and tell you they're good. They are mind. Tottenham Dave is a sound lad though.

lol

You should see the Newcastle fans that invaded the spurs forum. Going on about how we were going to get thrashed etc...

no disrespect intended

To be fair, we did go out all guns blazing from the off, when perhaps we should have been a bit more cautious. The game was over by about 15 minutes in as we were so cavalier.

He set us up completely wrong for that game. Almost as if to say well I went attacking like you all wanted me to and look what happened so I know best so shut up now.

We had Williamson, Simpson, Guthrie, obertan and perch playing. Definitely shouldn't have gone out all guns blazing
