Nice gesture, but absolutely no sacrifice to himself. A drop in the ocean, but the important thing is the money will be put to a good use.

French taxes are mental, maybe he made an agreement where 100% of the wages would go to charity and they wouldn't touch his endorsements

 

Why would the French government agree to that? They'd go from getting 50% of his wages to getting nothing whatsoever.

Why would they need to agree to it? He made an agreement with PSG, pay the children's charity XXX, you write it off, I write it off, we all win!

 

 

It certainly looking more and more like that.Any news on his soccer schools in America.You know,one of the main reasons for his move to America.

 

What about it? He has his academy in Los Angeles but it's not like he was running the day to day operations before he left. He will be back in the States in some role in the near future

Ah yes, my misunderstanding - I've just read back up the thread. I originally read it as if you were suggesting he'd make a deal with the French tax authorities so his endorsement income wouldn't be touched.
