Howay 12496
yaasswn he's right Ramirez should have been sent off for a two footed lunge on Jonas. (I know that's not what he's referring too) Edited February 2, 2013 by Howay

ChezGiven 0
And Cabaye was immense. And Jonas and Santon and all of them. One moment that showed all the difference between Debuchy and Simpson. Debuchy intercepts the ball just outside our box and sprints forward. Instead of lumping it long to Cisse, which is exactly what Simpson would have done, he gets his head up and squares a pass to Gouffran with just enough in front of him to allow Gouffran to run on to it and for us to break at pace. Monroe Transfer 0
played well though, kept on going. just can't buy a goal. feeling for him this season. Cisse put away a fine finish last week to be fair. He's clearly still got the ability - it's not like he wasn't scoring goals for fun before he joined us. Just a mental thing - perhaps a similar story for Torres, but on a different scale.

Monroe Transfer 0
fucking sweet day. i'm cracking open a bottle of bubbles left over from christmas Got to go to the cinema in an hour or so. Really wish I was in the Toon having a few drinks, not in the mood for sitting quiet and still for 3 hours with someone who hates football. Tooj 17
hopefully the season has turned and the irritating pardew boo boys on here will shit the fuck up. You can talk like Mr. Positive.

Tooj 17
played well though, kept on going. just can't buy a goal. feeling for him this season. Eh? Before today he'd scored 3 in his last 6. The pass to Gouffran to Sissoko's goal was unreal too.

Howay 12496
Aye his finishing wasn't there today but he had a big contribution, including winding Terry up enough to make him lunge in wildly and allowing cisse to put Gouffran through. The pass to Gouffran to Sissoko's goal was unreal too. in the context of the season when you look at the chances he's had, he's hardly been great has he. the odd goal recently but he still looks short of confidence in front of goal. should have had at least two today. probably would have last season. can't fault him otherwise. he's still getting in position to get the chances, which is the main thing. Monroe Transfer 0
Bit annoyed Reading got a winner today but can't complain too much. I wouldn't say we've nothing to worry about now but get past Spurs and get Marv and Ben Arfa back fully fit and I think we can look up rather than down from here on out. We'll see. Bictor 0
Great win today. Weird how once we have a decent team to put on the pitch we start playing well again, eh? Where are the Pardew haters now? Does anyone think top 7 a real possibility? Only 8 points off Liverpool, they have a game in hand.

colinh9 0
played well though, kept on going. just can't buy a goal. feeling for him this season. Honestly though, he did well on our 2nd but outside of that he was pretty poor. Was decent holding up the ball but his movement and finishing were really poor. Several crosses into the box that he didn't bother to challenge for. He's also wound up Terry/Cole but should have been sent off if we are honest.
