Brilliant first half. Poor delivery from Jonas but apart from that he's done everything right. Gouffran and Sissoko look incredible, Cabaye dominating the game, back line solid, great assist by Santon. Only Cisse let us down with what should've been a simple finish.

Let's not see another second-half collapse. Chelsea will probably come out swinging and we have to be ready for it.

Holy christ what a difference Cabaye makes - what a solid performance from all of them. Apart from that silly tackle even Perch has had a blinder.

He really is immense when hes fit, shows what we've been missing with him not being 100% earlier in the season

Having Sissoko with him covering so much of the pitch with quality is making a big difference to him as well I reckon

Cabaye is a player of the utmost quality. I've literally been laughing at some of the stuff he's done. World class and we are a totally different team with him in the first XI. Cisse should have 2 by now, really. And the much-maligned (by me) Jonas with a great finish.

Fantastic first 45.

Hope Ba is alright- that was some nasty shit- at least a concussion I'm sure

Brilliant so far. Cisse really should have scored one at least too. Cabaye has been superb. So happy for Jonas too, although attack wise he's been poor generally. Good to see all the lads go him to celebrate too, they appreciate the stick he has taken for the team this seaon.

Lets hope we dont do what we did against Villa, sit back and we could still lose this. Test for Pardew. Need more of the same, good calm stuff in midfield. Not sitting back and inviting pressure like we usually do.

I reckon Cabaye is playing like a trooper recently because he's playing with his best pal!

We look so good - I love watching Cabaye, Sissoko and Gouffran on the ball. Gouffran is like a silent assassin waiting to pounce. He just does his job (well) and I can't recall many times he's lost the ball.

Yup Gouffran and Sissoko seem so settled, like they've been playing here for ages. More of the same please! Agree with CT that the outcome of this game depends mostly on how Pards sets us up for the second half now.
