Pardew is a feeble pussy  he's probably not trained that much if he's been out with a knock. might have 45 minutes on him rather than a full 90 minutes. it's not unheard of for players to make the bench rather than the first team in that situation you know. if he's still being kept outside of the team in a couple of weeks time you might have a point.
