May is still gaming, although at least she has irretrievably fucked off the DUP and ERG, which is a positive. I'd like to see Corbyn force a confirmatory referendum on her shit deal, but against what? Labour unicorns aren't going to fly. Remain. No Deal, May's Deal, Remain. TheGingerQuiff 2412
The leave vote would split between No Deal/May Deal and remain would win comfortably, obv

Gemmill 44383
You can't allow the public to vote on no deal ffs. Why are we required to give a vote on no deal? It's May's deal plus whatever concessions Corbyn gets, or we stay in. That's what they vote in.

Alex 34846
Fuckwits will lap up populist cunts like Piers Morgan telling them no deal is the will of the people and politicians have no idea what the consequences of it will be (in fairness there’s evidence of the latter). I’m in favour of Norway Plus now. I hope somehow a compromise is reached and we get this. If referendums are a bad idea then so are second referendums. If you think the first campaign was bad the next will be fucking horrific. I don’t trust the British public to deliver a sensible result.
PaddockLad 17079
Isn’t she just flirting with Corbyn to get the rest of the fucknuts in her party to come to heel? 13 cabinet members back no deal? Think she’s just trying to call their bluff... Edited April 3, 2019 by PaddockLad

ewerk 30266
I thought you were referring to the divisions in society and need to come together rubbish that is often used to oppose a second referendum. I'm not an expert on the matter but I think that nearly all the polling does show a good lead for remain in any potential second referendum. I fancy our chances. Norway+ isn't the worst outcome but it is worse that we have now so I think we should still be pushing for a better resolution.
wykikitoon 19886
Just comeback from a weekend in Belgium. Some fuckwit Burnley six fingered cunt in our hotel was pissed up at the bar one night. He told the barman that the EU makes the UK jump through hoops in terms of living, especially Health and Safety. Fuck me. We ended up leaving the bar. We passed loads of road works on the motorways over there and never seen the miles and miles of cones and speed restrictions like you do in the UK. Its a simple short slow down, then back on it. We saw one bloke in a cheery picker working on a light in the middle. About 200m before it they have placed a truck saying the lane was closed. Then cones upto where he was working then thats it. The other side was still open and no problems. I am sure Belgium like most countries has it's issues. But driving around the place, it's fucking spotless. The UK is slowly turning into a fucking landfill site. The motorways there is litter everywhere, there's fucking shite everywhere. We have fuck all respect for our country. We don't educate kids on the correct stuff. People read shite in the Mail and Sun and get drawn into the fucking bull shit. Daft cunts. All to keep the people down and dazed. Fuck off Murdoch etc CUNTS Edited April 3, 2019 by wykikitoon

And worse for the EU project going forward. Most people won't feel any impact from a Norway plus deal, it's a sensible compromise.
ewerk 30266
The EU aren't in the least bit concerned about our anti-EU MEPs, for the most part they aren't there and cause little problems for the European Parliament. Norway+ is pointless. We lose any say in the future direction of the EU, we have to continue paying in to the EU at a much worse rate than we have now and we contine FoM and adherence to EU laws. So you might call it a compromise but imo it's a loss for both sides.
Rayvin 5176
It's a political loss for the county that it IMO deserves, but its not a loss to individuals.
Rayvin 5176
Out of interest, if Corbyn somehow pulls Norway or PV2 out of the bag, does that mean he gets a little slack on here? Don't answer, I already know. Curious though that his really really fucking really long game approach might actually work in the end. He let the Tories run out of rope and now May is at his door. So you might call it a compromise but imo it's a loss for both sides. Whatever way you square it, it's obvious because of history and geography we aren't fully committed to the EU project, to put it mildly. Our current membership is a bit of a fudge anyway being outside of Schenghen and the Euro. So looking forward, what do we want. The UK, constantly holding back the EU from the integration it actually needs for its common currency, or for the UK to partly step back and let it get on with it? Let there be a two tier Europe, with geographically peripheral nations staying outside the Eurozone core. I'm not suggesting being exactly the same as Norway or in Efta btw, I envision something a bit closer where we have more sway (and in the CU for that matter). But ultimately we have to accept we are not fully European in the way Germany is and we have to position ourselves thus. For me, staying in the SM is my only red line, I'd be happy with that.
