Park Life 71
The more you get exposed to stuff like this, the more you realise that political parties are an absolute shitshow. Yup. A proper poetic dictatorship with summary powers is what's needed. Start with the key things like legalising ganga and no tax on beer and fags. No surprise about Corbyn's reluctance to do much to help. Or Carswell's decision to go with his conscience only after he knew that his nest would remain well-feathered. Rayvin 5304
Can you at least see where he's trying to position himself though? To be fair to him, his resistance to being portrayed as 'wanting to stay in the EU' appears to be because he knew how toxic that would look to vast swathes of people. That said, if he wanted out he should have just come out and said it. That would have been the way to maximize his credibility with the working class. ewerk 31221
Pick a side and go with it. Don't claim to be something you're not and then give half-arsed support. So much for the man of principle.

In this instance he just comes across as duplicitious, too easily led by his advisors, incompetent or a bit of all of those things.
