The luxury of my kids having English godmothers cost me 23 Euros to receive Christmas “presents” this year.

Thank you CT.

This level of petty resentment is what kicked off the First World War. Now all we need is some Russian cunt to stick his beak in and we’ll all be having a kick around in a minefield next Christmas.

You brought it up!!!!

Bottom line is me and you can post positive / negative stories til the cows come home, but the truth is we'll know in about 5 years time. And even then people will argue.

Hey @Christmas Tree , guess what day it is. That's right, the five year anniversary of Brexit. Ready to own up to your mistake yet?

Dunt, brilliant as ever. I've sent it to my mam, telling her she should read it as stuff like this needs to be heard, as this is the undeniable reality we now live in.

I was round there the other day and she's among the final minority that still think it was a good idea, and she insists it's been a success.

Bearing in mind, I've spent the last week opening savings accounts for her and getting her money transferred across, cos the whole process confuses her....

So she can't open a savings account, but she is in absolutely no doubt that she understands enough about trade and economics to unequivocally state that Brexit has been a success. Ridiculous, really, and underlines why we should never have been handed the decision.

I like a lot of it but I'm not sure where he's getting this idea that the culture war has ended in the UK. Things have settled because Labour are in power and not actively pushing such things, but they're still responding/reacting to the themes. Think we need to still be vigilant on that. Everything else, I totally agree with him though.

Relatively speaking though. I mean look at Badenoch. She started off trying to major on culture war shit and has had to dial it down massively. Partly cos as opposition leader, she may as well have been screaming it into her pillow, but also cos she's been ridiculed in interview for some of it.

If she was PM, we'd all still be having to lap that shit up.

I don't think Musk getting involved has helped the right too much. Generally speaking, the British don't like rich foreign cunts getting all up in our business. See Brexit, Elon, you cunt.

PMQs is a good example. She started off turning up with 6 mad as fuck, completely unrelated questions. A lot of It culture war shit.

And Starmer completely ripped the piss, and 400+ people in the chamber were openly laughing at her.

That shit used to get the "hear hear" treatment, or some nutty backbencher would put forward a mad proposition and Sunak would thank them for raising this important issue.

I agree, Musk hasn't helped them at all. His millions might, but his personal interventions haven't. Although it does seem to be fueling a lot of drama on the other side of the pond with the UK now being used as a warning to Americans of the dangers of not following the dictates of Musk's first term as President.

But still though, I think the public could break against Labour and back into all of this shit again if they're not really, really careful.

Looking at the comments, I can't find a single one that is supportive of Brexit. You can't rank by "most disliked" though which might reveal some.

Musk said he wanted to change the name of the English Channel this week to the "George Washington" channel. He was probably joking, maybe not, I don't know, but either way, coming out with shit like that is not going to make the gammons happy.
