Gemmill 44872
I don't know why I watch PMQs. You have to be a giant cunt (I'm looking at you CT) to see this as anything other than a fucking shitshow and an embarrassment to the country. Gemmill 44872
Hammond has now confirmed to the Treasury Select Committee that the cabinet has had no specific discussion about the final Brexit outcome it wants. Apparently it would be premature to even talk about this before talks move to phase 2.

Honestly, the recklessness of not doing due diligence when the future of an entire country is at stake....
Rayvin 5223
So that's no impact assessments on the economic consequences, and no plan for the outcome. Presumably because they're going to wait to be told by the EU what the outcome will be, and the EU have so far refused to tell them until we get all this other shit out of the way. They have no idea, at all, about what they're delivering here. None. Moreover though - we could have agreed to pay £50 fucking billion a week after triggering A50. The Irish border looks like it's been discussed in the last 4-6 weeks as well, so what in fuck have they even been doing up until now?! Renton 21623
Interesting Hammond said we would pay the 50 billion even if we get no deal. At least he vaguely understands the process, and the importance of international reputation. Btw Isegrim, I hope you are telling your fellow countrymen that we're not all complicit in this madness. Actually I do feel like the tide is turning public opinion wise.
Renton 21623
Refreshing my memory about what Davis has said in the past, these missing reports that don't exist sound like a cover up. Is it possible they do exist, but are so catastrophic the government has buried them rather than completely derail the hard Brexit they seem desperate on? It's interesting May has apparently read the summaries of these reports that don't exist. She didn't deny this at the time so is now implicated. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-politics-42260350/david-davis-questioned-over-brexit-impact-assessments
Renton 21623
So, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, the Brexit committee has decided Davis is not in contempt of parliament. Wonder why. For a clue, look at the makeup of the committee and listen to what JRM said yesterday. We are now in a situation where politicians have free reign to blatantly lie whenever it suits, with no possibility of censure. In fact it appears lying is rewarded in our so called democracy. This is all going to end very badly. Hillary Benn (LAB) CHAIR Peter Bone (CON) Joanna Cherry QC (SNP) Christopher Chope (CON) Steven Crabb (CON) Jonathan Djanogly (CON) Richard Graham (CON) Peter Grant (SNP) Wera Hobhouse (LD) Andrea Jenkyns (CON) Stephen Kinnock (LAB) Jeremy Lefroy (CON) Pat McFadden (LAB) Craig Mackinlay (CON) Seema Malhotra (LAB) Jacob Rees-Mogg (CON) Emma Reynolds (LAB) Stephen Timms (LAB) John Whittingdale (CON) Hywel Williams (PLAID) Sammy Wilson (DUP) 10 CON, 1 DUP, 6 LAB, 2 SNP, 1 PLAID and 1 LD. Absolutely loaded with Brexiteers.
ewerk 30610
As I understand it the committee decided that he had complied with the bill that passed through parliament. Whether he lied to the house or not would be a matter for the speaker.

The 'nothing is agreed until everything is agreed' is total bollocks. What is decided at the end of Phase 1 has to be set in stone. It isn't subject to a successful trade deal in Phase 2 and cannot be used as leverage. We are really dealing with the worst set of negotiators the EU will have ever faced. ewerk 30610
It looks now that the content of the agreement on the Irish border situation isn't exactly what the DUP has a problem with but the fact that the Irish are essentially dictating what is and isn't acceptable. They're a terrible, bitter set of little people.
Rayvin 5223
That being the case though, I think we can expect the whole thing to be resolved by allowing the DUP to get some manner of 'win' over the situation. Which means Brexit is back on.

Which means Brexit is back on. Not sure what you mean. Brexit is "on" no matter what happens with the DUP. I see though May was talking the usual have your cake and eat it bollocks in PMQ yesterday. We are leaving the CU and SM, but will retain frictionless free trade with the EU with no need for a border. When are these fucking cunts going to drop this disingenuous shit? The only explanation can be they are deliberately driving us off a cliff and will continue to blame the EU as we hit the rocks. However, I do think public opinion is beginning to turn. I predict that in early 2018 reality will bite as many companies initiate contingency plans.
