Meenzer 15742
The fact that I'm even thinking to myself "...still can't imagine Corbyn leading the negotiations though" probably speaks volumes for how the election is going to turn out despite the above clusterfuck. Dr Gloom 22188
The fact the EU leaked the entire details of a private dinner conversation, in which the PM is made to look naive, deluded and, well, a bit thick, doesn't bode too well for negotiations. ewerk 31235
It shouldn't come as a shock. The Brexiteers have to realise that it isn't going to be the cake walk they envisage.

Howmanheyman 33943
That dinner was just a ploy in pre-negotiations from May. It starts off with willy waving then phase 2 is putting fingers in your ears shouting 'Strong and stable leadership - I'm not listening - strong and stable leadership - I'm not listening!' Park Life 71
When Le Pen wins the Italian banks will collapse, the euro will go into free fall and there won't be an EU left to deal with/or they will panic and give us a whatever deal we want. It doesn't matter what these people say the only thing that matter now is France. Edited May 1, 2017 by Park Life
Dr Gloom 22188
I think in that scenario, all bets are off. Don't think Le Pen will do it though. It'll Be close but macron should be able to rally just enough of the remaining voters to keep her out. Edited May 1, 2017 by Dr Gloom

I thought she stood a good chance, but the centre is doing everything it can here and I'm not sure disillusionment is quite high enough yet. PaddockLad 17721
Agree with Parky, Le Pen wins and its the real start of the end of the road for the EU. Which I don't really have a problem with. I do have a problem with the quasi-fascists who have led the movement though. Farage and Le Pen are fuckin revolting people.
TheGingerQuiff 2412
You've got to hope for the Le Pen win for selfish reasons at this point. Unlikely though

ewerk 31235
''Theresa May says she will be a "bloody difficult woman" towards European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker during Brexit talks.'' Rayvin 5329
She has no idea what it means to do that though. No idea when to apply it, when to appease, and generally is poorly informed on all related matters. Juncker is going to fucking murder her.
