She's playing to the people who'll vote for her - those too young to remember the war (I know there arent that many left anyway) and too old to have a modern worldview of internationalism. Unfortunately these cunts all vote and they all vote for their small-minded, squalid little bigotries to be played out.

This is also pretty grim:

What a dull and sad outlook for the leader of a major nation to have, really. Says it all about our ambition now.

yeah, but we're taking back control from the faceless, pen pushing bureaucrats in brussels.

or something

Got a kind of "No such thing as society" ring to it.

on closer inspection, it looks like less of a pitch for the centre ground. she's reaching out to ukip voters

Irvine Welsh tweeted that Farage had resigned so he could go away to have gender reassignment surgery in order to take up a role as Tory leader - sounds about right.

I don't remember this outcry when labour had these ideas

When Brown wanted British jobs for British workers or when Miliband wanted to report companies with too many migrants.

I don't remember it either strangely enough.

Miliband wanted to stop the practice of paying foreign workers less than the minimum wage. He didn't advocate publishing their names on a list, rounding them up, and deporting them.

Farage in drag (or out of it for that matter), waaaaay more appealing than Theresa May.

Aye, he wouldn't need surgery to look better than Teresa May in a dress.

The more generous version:

(insofar as likening her to "a female member of an insidious totalitarian collective" intent on demonstrating the futility of resistance can be deemed more generous)
