Rayvin 5223
Absolutely. People need to take responsibility for this when it goes tits up - and it's already doing that. When jobs go, when taxes rise, when investment in vital public services diminishes and we become a poorer country, the Leavers will have to accept that they fucked the country up. They won't, as they'll scapegoat something else (likely on the whims of whatever populist politician we have at that point) but ultimately this is on them. wykikitoon 20156
Basically they wanted to vote to leave but they didn't want to actually leave. That's partly why referendum's are a dangerous thing. I think there was a big protest vote over an issue too big to be fucking about with. Hard to feel sorry for people like that though. Nissan even told them beforehand which vote was the best to secure their jobs. It was made out amongst the Leave campaign as being extremely patronising but what the for were Nissan supposed to do? They were giving their employees the best available info. Who's fault is it that they chose to ignore it? Â Thats the problem with telling window lickers like that. They rebel. What did the Unions say?
Rayvin 5223
If there's one thing that comes from this, it's that referendums should be fucking banned. Utterly mental holding the country hostage to this shitshow for nothing more than Tory Party infighting. Governments should not be allowed to do this. Christmas Tree 4725
Â i've tried to flag this to CT several times in recent exchanges on the market turmoil but no response other than pointing out the FTSE 100 is rallying. I and my new mate Kruggers have pointed out to you that it's currently 600 points higher than it was in Feb. You have your fingers in your ears and are only concerned in market changes since the vote.

Rayvin 5223
More Labour MPs leaving. I'm really struggling to think what they imagine is going to happen if they oust Corbyn. The whole party looks 'unelectable' now, not just him.

Park Life 71
The Blairite faction of the PLP want Corby out at all costs and they have been at it for ages...They know no matter how he dresses it up he isn't really a Europhile and never has been. Â This the soft right grouping (that hijacked the party many moons ago) has all but lost any sense of solidarity with the rank and file of traditional Labour voters (who are patriotic and localist and strongly tribal and regional). The Blairites who do most of their scheming and falaffel gorging in hip London dens and can be seen taking the air by the Thames while discussing cross dressing and man bags and water projects in Africa are nothing short of stunned. Now that house in Tuscany and posing for pictures with actors and fact finding missions to Brussels (where they hoped to end up in their dotage - see Kinnock, Blair and others)..is on the line they are playing at naked survival politics and trying to rid themselves of the only person in the party who is still pretty close to the grass roots. Park Life 71
Fair point but isn't Corbyn a bit Islington as well? He gets about more and does a hell of a lot of talking to normal people. Â nb Brussels and Cameron could have avoided this...He could have asked for a bit more and they should have seen the oncoming crisis and given him a bit more and together they could have spun a pretty good case. Brussels like all the failing centralizing architecture that has been consigned to history just thinks it's too big and knows best and people shouldn't have too much say on how things work cause they're all idiots and racists and nationalists etc...blah blah blah.. For heavens sake man go.  Wow... what a blow from Cameron. I mean, there's a part of me that thinks he can get to fuck since this entire crisis is his doing, but on the other hand Corbyn is now being told to leave by both Labour and the Tories  And the membership will just return him anyway How fucked Labour are... Renton 21627
One positive should see HS2 scrapped. Why would it be scrapped and why would that be a positive?
