Why no real criticism of last summer then CT?.... because what you've posted is unmitigated fuckin shit tbh, seeing as a lot of the mess this season is as a result of last summer's chronic mis management. How the fuck can you honestly say that it's impossible for Pardew to fail when you think he's spent the whole season fuckin failing???!!!! He's no time to blend the new players into the side and you personally know less then fuck all about them. And yet you're sat theyre saying Pardew can't fail with players you've never seen to be able to make a judgement on in the first place. Fuck me, I try to give you the benefit of the doubt but I swear you're on the wind up because even you cant be that stupid as to completely contradict yourself yet again. Its the same as "sack Pardew, dont ask me who to replace him with though"...how do you know if any given manager or player is any good to make the statement that things will improve?

You may say "time to move on" but posting unremitting praise of the regime has about as much point as completely annhilating them for their every move. This isnt Football Manager, anyone wanking themsleves off about the players we've signed this week needs a good look at the league table.

One of the dildo sellers at West Ham said in May 2011 that he'd thought he'd spent enough in Janauary for them to stay up. Demba Ba was one of the siginings and he got 7 goals in 12 games. Still not enough to keep them up. They signed Wayne Bridge and Thomas Hitzelsperger too, experienced international players. Still not enough. See what I mean? its very, very tricky what we're attempting here for the remainder of this season and nobody should underestimate the size of the task. So if you want to praise the board would it not be better to wait until May and see if we're still in the division? Its certainly not a foregone conclusion that we will be.

Pleased we got these lads in but fuck me why ruin a season and risk relegation to save a few quid?

'Hats off to the board'?

Fuck me sideways!

Too much coffee

I no you like to harp on about the gloom of the past and the future, but this was just a few scribblings about the present. I mentioned the mistakes of last summer in the first few lines to try and avoid discussing what has been said many times before and what most agree on. We should have had more signings then. If you want to get a wet trout and beat yourself up over and over again then fine tbh.

As for knowing the players what utter bollocks. I can read and listen to those who do know them and are excited about them. Pardew probably can still fail, (if anyone can fuck this up, he can), but lets not be all drama queen about it, there are some decent players arrived in January and they are all match fit. Sure they will need to get to speed with the prem, but we are talking about being good enough to avoid relegation not finish in the top four.

And with regard to the regime, I think (even though I dont agree with all of them), they have done the right thing this time, in the points I mention.

If you disagree about the points Ive made (Coloccini, Recruitment or Pardew), then state your case rather than using it as an excuse to have a whinge ate me or the board you big jessy ;)

They got it wrong in the summer but lets not ptretend that anyone on here thought not getting another couple of bodies in would leave us facing a relegation battle.

i don't read CT'S football posts because and the above quote underlines why

no clue about players, the game, the club, and then flipflops from one opinion to the other on a whim.

A bigger clue about Newcastle than you will ever have sitting at your computer screen tbf ;)

Sadly no, the fact you live near the city and still are as clueless as you continue to put forward on here confirms how much of a plastic fan you are

"i don't like football but i support <insert team here>"

Plenty of us inside St James park every week who are quite happy with our knowledge of our team and our players without feeling the need to pass some out of towners test on world football.

I'll stick to being a "real" fan inside the ground and you can continue shovelling your "plastic" look at me I play football manager, watch lots of foreign footy on the telly so Im a better fan than you shit. :finger:

Let's not bother comparing, the point is clearly that you have no idea what you're talking about. You can send a simpleton in to watch heart surgery over and over, but you'd never trust him to perform the job.

You couldn't wait to not go the other week because of adverse weather, but don't worry I won't discount your status as a super 'real' fan as a result.

I'm not real, I'm out of town, should be a special place in the forum for us tbh, different class to the local hero's. Nevermind the fact that TV revenue is the biggest revenue stream for the league and the club.

Speak for yourself mate ;)

Theyve all got you on ignore Leazes, they cant see your question :)

I think Ashleys praying we dont qualify for Europe. I never thought Id say this but so do I. If we qualify for the Europa League I wouldnt be surprised if we have a flirt with relegation next season. Certainly we wont finish in the top 7.

Just cant believe we signed that many players over such a short period. Can't but help feel optimistic for getting out of this bad run and pushing on next season. We just need a couple of these players to perform to have got some real bargains on our hands.

Hold on, your mam and dad shop there.

My stepmam shops there. My dad doesn't shop anywhere.

I'm serious though, going to that shop is an awful experience. It's just fat people everywhere who don't lift their feet when they walk, shuffling slowly, blocking aisles, oblivious to the fact that they aren't the only ones in the shop. The queue for the pizzas is always like a bar on NYE.

They laughed at Your Winkle pickers in the check out queue didn't they?

That's everyone in the world nowadays like. The number of people walking down the street who seem entirely unaware they're taking up the whole pavement and walking at a snail's pace.

(Very #middleclassproblems I know, but still)

Aye, but lets face it, your standard position is doom and gloom, either past or future potential.

If doom and gloom means:

a. seeing last season for what it was, during the season itself, leading to

b. not being overly surprised at whats happened this season, especailly after correctly predicting that Ashley wouldnt strengthen the squad suffciently for a European season, which means

c. not carrying on like a bigs girls blouse on here "wah! sack Pardew hes shit this season...btw forget all the good stuff I said about him and the club last season, pretty please" for the past 5 months

Then I'm happy to be "doom and gloom"... :)
