Howay 12496
There's not an obvious immediate place for him at the type of clubs that he'd be looking to move to. Arsenal are overrun with attacking midfielders and while none of them are really in the same mould as Sissoko, he's not what they need at all. I think that's why I'm not massively concerned the he will leave this month. Last year there had been plenty of interest in Cabaye and he'd made it very clear in the summer that he wanted to leave. Sissoko has only said the same thing that we know all of the players think. It's disrespectful and the club shouldn't be allowing it but it's more likely that they actively encourage it. Agree with all of this. I think Cabaye had a chance to go on to a top side and become a regular starter due to his skill set he just went to the wrong one tbh (I'm sure he's happy enough with the money and being in France etc though), Sissoko I'm not as convinced about, he's a good player no doubt but I'm not sure if he's that level really, unless he keeps improving from his current level of course but the bench would be his most likely place if he went to a proper CL level club and it's hard to improve from there. Agree it's one of those things we expect players to be thinking and coming out with it is just a bit disrespectful, we're under no illusions about Ashley and I don't think anyone doubts the players fully understand the situation but just shut the fuck up eh Sissoko. It's a bit hard when he comes out with stuff like this and then expects fans to get behind the team, again I understand that he also might just be made to say stuff about the fans getting behind the side and may not be that arsed (talking about players in general btw not something Sissoko has specifically said). Modern footballs depressing .

Modern footballs depressing . Aye, before this season Sissoko had only really had the odd good game for us. In the summer I doubt many teams would have been considering him at all. Now we're seeing him make something of his potential and I'm sure there's teams keeping tabs on him but I wouldn't imagine many would be sold on spending £20m yet. Cabaye was an altogether different proposition. He'd captained Lille to the title and had a very good reputaition in Frace before he came here and consistenly performed better than the rest of our players. He also plays in a position that a lot of clubs could do with players in (arguably not PSG it has to be said). Whilst I still don't think he's really what they need, I think he'd still be a much better buy for Arsenal than Sissoko.
Rayvin 5301
Not wanting to tempt fate, but might he do a job for Chelsea? Willian and Oscar seem a bit off the pace this year, and some more physicality might be what they need.

Rayvin 5301
Yeah I'd agree. Not sure what it is that he supposedly brings to their team. Would probably go so far as to say that Sissoko is a more noticeable influence on games in truth, although that could just be because he plays for us and therefore I see him more. Rayvin 5301
Sad state of affairs when fans are speculating what team is more suitable for one of our best players. My bad - it started with just feeling that the only team he'd be suited for would be Chelsea, and that they've not really shown any interest in him (thus hoping that he'll remain here). It then moved to a general discussion that he's probably a more effective player than Willian. Which I personally feel is true.

It's also easier to stand out when playing alongside bilge like Gouffran instead of Hazard. Jose definitely loves Willian though, he's such a hard worker for the side and to be fair often causes headaches for teams whenever I've seen him. We're only doing that because we've pretty much covered the head coach position and are all fairly confident there'll be no new signings.

Monroe Transfer 0
I'm pretty sure PSG and Arsenal don't actually want him, as much as he's trying to sell himself through the media. Edited January 28, 2015 by Monroe Transfer
Howmanheyman 33876
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/581506/Moussa-Sissoko-Chelsea-Arsenal-Newcastle Sissoko has been linked with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain but the player claims to be happy at Newcastle. The 25-year-old admits, however, that the Champions League remains a drawcard and says he is encouraged by Mourinho's interest. He told French radio station RMC: "Is he following my progress? According to what I am hearing, yes. "He is one of the best managers in the world. He has won so many titles... Any player would love to be coached by this man. "For the moment, I am coached by other people. If one day I have the chance to work under his guidance, I would be very happy." He added: "For the moment, I am still at Newcastle and I feel good over there. There is no problem. "After that, you can never be sure about what is going to happen. If I am to move, the French national team will be part of my thinking. I will make the right choice. "Champions League football? All players dream of playing in this competition. "I hope to participate in it one day. I am patient. I am waiting for my time." Sooner this cunt fucks off the better to be honest.
