Some spurs nugget is suggesting that we only get £30M if he stays for the full five years and that they won't pay their £6M installment if he goes elsewhere in the meantime. He reckons this is because a evening standard reporter has said so. Apparently we're taking a gamble.

It's on the last page as well, you daft shite.

I'm explaining where the spurs nugget is arguing, Gemmill. That Russian lass parading round your pool has either frazzled your mind or it's the incessant TV/films you watch. ;)

Hijo de puta! That's fighting talk in the Great Park hood.

Aye but if you do it that way Spurs have 14 domestic trophies to our 13 and it doesn't fit the narrative I'm trying to give that we are a bigger club than Spurs ;)

At least you're honest about it

TBH it's hardly worth going back further than the premier league's inception to compare things anyway.  Our league titles are about a century ago now, they hold very little relevance to the size of our club.  Spur's titles might not be as far back but are just as irrelevant.  What is relevant is that they have regularly been in the top six in the last ten years and they are playing in the champions league this season.

What's the criteria for being a big club? Go back 20 years rather than 10 and we've doubled their top 4 finishes and been in the champions league more often

Surely a big club is how many members/stakeholders the club has, be it football club, social club, whatever?
