Colossal fuck up losing him for that amount. It didn't take Roma long to realize that they were picking our pocket getting him for 4mill. What a joke of a club we are.

I'm sure the profits on Cabaye and Debuchy will soften the blow....I hope Ashley is furious with Pardew and his genius coaches for losing him a similar profit on MYM though

I'd love to see Mbiwa excel at Roma and have a great loan spell with them, and do well for France. That goes for BenArfa at Hull too but maybe not as likely. If they do it will cement the fact that Pardew is clueless and far from being the professional manager he keeps claiming to be.

Next time I read this thread he'll probably be receiving the ballon d'or such is the trajectory of his career over than last number of weeks. I can only dare to dream of a time where we would sign players such as him.

You should have stopped after `not good enough',because he wasn't.

I remember Jon Dahl Tommason not being good enough, and he wasn't.3 goals in 23 games.Weak as piss and shit scared when playing for us.Like Mbiwa,we gave him his chance in his prefered position, then further chances in other postitions, and he was shit in them all.He went on to win the italian league, two italian cups.the super cup,the UEFA cup and the Champions League, but he was still totally unsuitable for english football.

As usual, you're talking shite. However, the comparison with Tomasson is apt (albeit not in the way you intended) because he suffered by being played out of position (as a lone striker, due to Shearer's injury). Similarly, Mbiwa looked decent when he got to play sweeper alongside a marking centre-back, i.e. Williamson.

Is there a specific reason why you're discounting the effect that Shearer's season crippling injury had on the young lad's performances? Or the style of play that Dalglish preferred?

JDT maybe wasn't suited for the English Premier LEague, but I reckon he'd not have been half the flop if Shearer had been playing along side him, instead of him having to lead the line or play alongside Tino.

Of Yanga-Mbiwa was good enough.. Like the rest of the club he suffered for another mans folly. If you can't see by now that Pardew is a complete fucking liability then you need help.

By the way JDT was 20 years old when he played for United & his preferred position was as a second striker/at the tip of a midfield diamond, he was brought in for his link up play, using Shearer as the target man - he wasn't brought in to smash 20 goals out of nowhere.

Effectively we had a 20 odd year old Dutch kid replacing Shearer & Ferdinand at the same time.

And he barely got to play in his preferred position after Shearer's injury. Name me a 20 year old player in a new league who could handle that pressure?

Nah - name 10.

You are talking shite.Tomasson was given chances in his prefered position `in the hole' as he was still shite.Read my earlier post for the reasons.

When was this like? He played up front on his todd until Shearer came back and by then, people like you had destroyed whatever confidence he had.

Put it this way; say Cisse gets injured again, and we launch Armstrong to play up front on his own. I guarantee his career would be knackered before you could get a mackem mention in your subsequent post.
