Looked for the Toy Story Blu Ray box set on find-dvd this morning.

 

It has been £9 in the Disney store, but couldn't be arsed to go to the Metrocentre, looked online and it's about £17 in most places....Blockbuster though....£34.93

Had a headstart, could have been first to market with rental streaming and rental by post, but wasted their opportunity.

 

Haven't been in one in years, long term Lovefilm user (I've saved £hundreds and hardly buy any games now as I've no need to).

I was only saying last year that I couldn't believe it was still open after the success and ease of Lovefilm and Netflix and the like. Back in the day (the 90's kids) we were there every weekend getting DVDs out but I really can't remember the last time I was in there.

Like HMV their business model is outdated. The Managers should have changed years ago.
