David Kelly 1260
Aye, I can only think it was from the African stall. I was the only one in our group who had anything from there (a saltfish dumpling) and I was the only one bad. Although another mate who went the next day got the shits a bit too. Tbf once I was I didn't feel too bad at all. Played football the next morning.

Happy Face 29
There was an mbiwa moment of excellence on Sunday that had me singing "who the fuck needs Coloccini". No- one joined on like. Tarnishing himself though.
Dr Gloom 22185
Be a bit poor of him to go out like this. I'm hoping he hasn't played his last game yet and will return to say goodbye to the supporters that paid his generous wages and offered up their wives for his pleasure. PaddockLad 17694
Obviously his heart isnt in it at SJP, but unfortunately for him his contract is still held here. Ashley should play the hardest ball possible with San Lorenzo. This could set a very poor precedent if he's allowed to walk away. And if a deal was hatched for him to wait until Mbiwa had settled in until he'd "get an injury" then Pardew and the club in general should stop fuckin lying to us. PaddockLad 17694
there's a difference to playing hardball with a club who has something to bargain with, they're a midtable team in a league where even the big clubs aren't minted, if people think we're going be getting a fee for him leaving they'll be disappointed. This club doesn't even get more than 5m euro for selling proper stars they've had like lavezzi, zabaletta, and Del'assandro (the later being probably their record signing at 3m) I'm not suggesting we're going to get fee for him, am saying we hold him to the terms of the contract he signed last year. If he wants to go home that much and kiss goodbye to that much money then its up to him.
ewerk 31223
Wasn't he only supposed to be away for ten days? He must be due back soon.
David Kelly 1260
I don't buy that there's any conspiracy here but I'm quite sure we've agreed to let him go in the summer. I would like to think we'll not just let him walk away for nothing though. He signed a contract (apparently when whatever problems he had already existed) so if he won't fulfill it we should make him pay the price. I still think he's never looked like he's done anything other than his best for us when he's played so I do hope that he's back before the end of the season and says a proper goodbye. Lifting the uefa cup would be a good way to bow out And IF we were in the final - would you drop one of Taylor/Mbiwa for Colo coming back? Captain or not, I think he should be on the bench when he's fit as long as Taylor/Mbiwa are both fit. Also I think Cabaye would make a much better captain for the club. I think this behaviour is disrespectful to the club and disrespectful to us fans. Not something I would expect from a captain who is 'worshipped' by the fans! David Kelly 1260
If Taylor and Mbiwa carry on in this same way it would be very harsh to drop either of them. Of course Taylor has played a few games in a row now so he's due another injury!

Tom 14013
He's recently signed a long term contract, tried to leave, San Lorenzo entered negotiations to sign the player - but never contacted Newcastle, now he's got an ''injury'' he's taking in their matches? Quite a lot is wrong with that.

BigWalrus 0
He hasn't got a knackered spine. He has broken two bones in his back. The injury will stop him playing football, but non-strenuous activity like sitting down and watching a match will be fine. It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't play for us again, but having some broken bones in your back doesn't mean you suddenly turn into Stephen Hawking.
