Brushing Your Teeth

Dentists are always going on about spitting only, not rinsing. Does anyone do this?

 

Every time I spit only I still have a mouthful of foam.

 

Is anyone a spit only man / woman?

CT's right, you're not supposed to rinse your mouth because the toothpaste continues acting after you've brushed. Hard not too like.

I use corsodyl after brushing. Rinse with that instead of water to get rid of the foamyness and like Renton said, keep something working after you've brushed

Depends. You are meant to keep the paste residue in your mouth after so spit only. But I brush in the morning and spit (don't rinse). But at night i do the whole brush then floss then mouthwash (also corsodyl daily).

 

When i had a sensitive tooth my dentist said to rub some sensodine (sp?) directly on to the tooth and leave it. I couldn't be arsed though. Prob why it's still sensitive.
