Not too bad, something like half five and sent them back to bed with their stockings until about 7.

The Fish 10857
I'll update later, but sisters couldn't maintain the ultimate shit present stakes forever, but my Great Aunt picked up the slack. Have to tell you this though; My Dad just blew all gifts out of the water. Just presented my Mam the 4 medals her late father won in the war, which had been stolen just before we moved my Gran out of their house. She wept, my sisters wept, the bigot wept, my dad got choked up... Not a dry eye in the house. Apart from me. Obviously. What? Shaddup there's dust in my eyes. It's a very dusty time of year. Bonamental 0
That's brilliant. Quick question though, is it one of your sisters who is the bigot, or is that the aunt?
The Fish 10857
Great Aunt is the bigot. Yeah Ant that's already been taken care of. Got to get in touch with a mate whose dad makes presentation boxes to see if I can't sort out something for them.
Monkeys Fist 42459
"Quote Location of story: Boulogne, France 1940 "He displayed courage and initative of the highest order during the German occupation of Boulogne. He entered the Citadel on the 23rd of May, when the enemy were in the town, and assisted another Signalman in operating and finally demolishing an isolated guns operations room. Finally he made his way through the enemy occupied town to the docks. Here he became isolated by enemy snipers, and only escaped by diving into the harbour. After a long swim across the harbour he clung to a jetty piling for some sixteen hours, until pulled aboard a destroyer (HMS Windsor) by a rope of rifle slings." On the reverse side of the medal are inscribed the words "Last Man Out" " Fucking Hell! What a lad!

Brock Manson 0
Absolutely belting xmas dinner that my aunt and i cooked up...except we forgot the pigs in blankets. Did turkey crown and a beef joint in the same tray and used the meat juices mixed in with the veg blanching water as the gravy base. Also stirred in cranberry sauce and a bit of black pepper. Epic gravy. Tried Jun Tanaka's roast potatoes and they came out brilliantly. Audibly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Superb. Even had everyone nomming the sprouts. Blanched them for 4 mins then sauteed them with some cranberry sauce for another 6 until they started to caramelise.
Christmas Tree 4725
Perfect end to a really brilliant Christmas Day. Everyone heads to bed and I get to chill with the final four episodes of Sopranos season two. And to think the day started with a £40 Turkey Crown that had gone bad. Luckily a joint of Beef and a Turkey joint that oldest daughter had in her fridge saved the day. Now looking forward to a great Boxing Day out with the family before the big match in the pub. It's been such a special day today I just have this feeling that we will win tomorrow. And if we don't, Cest la vie.
