Loic Remy signs for QPR

Something doesn't add up here.

I'm quite certain QPR have had a bid accepted else why would Remy's advisors be able to say they'd speak to them out of courtesy, surely they'd not have Marseilles permission with a bid being accepted?

The 'unknown' 3rd club is what I don't get, unless the anonymity has been specifically requested.

The whole HBA situation with OM unnerves me a bit. Hope there's no bad feelings held by them over that.

Given that they've accepted our bid, I don't think there is.

Playing Devils Advocate, who's to say we haven't exercised a release clause in his contract?

In that case it wouldn't make a difference whether we've pissed off OM or not.

Though if there was a clause then I'm sure it would have been reported.

To try an put a positive spin on this it could be that his representatives are looking for the money and he himself has already made up his mind, hence him not wanting to speak to QPR last week.

Bah, I wasn't that bothered about Remy until I saw that video Tooj put up, then he grew on me - I hope if he does go to QPR he's shit and can't get on with the English game... not that I'd be bitter or owt.

 at people going "OMG he's only gone there for the money." He's a fucking footballer. Of course he's gone there for the money. This shouldn't be a surprise or used to hit him over the head with. That's what the game is all about, if you don't like it, then stop watching it.

By the way, they're also only 7 points behind us, they're based in London, and they have a better manager than us. So they've got that going for them too.

Debuchy:

Recent SJP arrival Mathieu Debuchy told the French radio station RMC Sport that Remy rang Yohan Cabaye on Sunday evening for his views on the club and Newcastle supporters.

It's also reported by French journalists that Debuchy said on the same station that:

"It's a very good news to see Loïc Rémy at Newcastle. I hope to see him tomorrow at training camp. Loic has had some problems recently, but we know him: he's a great player and goalscorer.

"I hope it'll do him good to come here, and he'll score goals and get himself back in the French national side. Rémy is a very good striker, it's great for the team and Newcastle."

Shame that's all changed within 24 hours.

Oh well, on to the next target.... if he exists.
