Craig 6682
Something doesn't add up here. I'm quite certain QPR have had a bid accepted else why would Remy's advisors be able to say they'd speak to them out of courtesy, surely they'd not have Marseilles permission with a bid being accepted? The 'unknown' 3rd club is what I don't get, unless the anonymity has been specifically requested. The whole HBA situation with OM unnerves me a bit. Hope there's no bad feelings held by them over that.
2bias 3
Seemed too good to be true, I reckon this will go down until the last day. So much for someone in for the Reading game.
Holden McGroin 6587
We'll have to see how this one pans out but we will no doubt not get someone in now if he signs for QPR. Then a relegation battle *really* beckons.

Monroe Transfer 0
Hope they go down with us tbh. Vile club. Didn't they get Hoillet in during the Summer to play in that position? By offering higher wages than other clubs (including CL clubs), naturally.

Tom 14011
Remy turned down QPR without even speaking to them last week so it's quite clear the money is going to be insane.

In that case it wouldn't make a difference whether we've pissed off OM or not. Though if there was a clause then I'm sure it would have been reported. Park Life 71
Some merde is hitting le fan. Qpr offering ridiculous money as a last minute desperate gamble to get the player. Edited January 14, 2013 by Park Life

Monroe Transfer 0
They're fucked if they go down, aren't they? I doubt every player has a relegation clause.
2bias 3
To try an put a positive spin on this it could be that his representatives are looking for the money and he himself has already made up his mind, hence him not wanting to speak to QPR last week. TheMoog 0
Bah, I wasn't that bothered about Remy until I saw that video Tooj put up, then he grew on me - I hope if he does go to QPR he's shit and can't get on with the English game... not that I'd be bitter or owt. Monroe Transfer 0
Nah, he's going there. Call me defeatist but I can't imagine him turning down the money they can offer him. He'll go there, knowing if they go down he'll have at least put himself in the shop window for Arsenal to snap him up in the summer if does alright. Craig 6682
Of course there's always the Barton factor to consider. Doesn't exactly have a high opinion of Ashley & Llambias, does he?

Gemmill 44882
at people going "OMG he's only gone there for the money." He's a fucking footballer. Of course he's gone there for the money. This shouldn't be a surprise or used to hit him over the head with. That's what the game is all about, if you don't like it, then stop watching it. By the way, they're also only 7 points behind us, they're based in London, and they have a better manager than us. So they've got that going for them too. 2bias 3
Debuchy: Recent SJP arrival Mathieu Debuchy told the French radio station RMC Sport that Remy rang Yohan Cabaye on Sunday evening for his views on the club and Newcastle supporters. It's also reported by French journalists that Debuchy said on the same station that: "It's a very good news to see Loïc Rémy at Newcastle. I hope to see him tomorrow at training camp. Loic has had some problems recently, but we know him: he's a great player and goalscorer. "I hope it'll do him good to come here, and he'll score goals and get himself back in the French national side. Rémy is a very good striker, it's great for the team and Newcastle."
