Can see both sides of this. I would hate to watch a team like Barcelona week in week out. All that passing about yuk. Much prefer the Keegan tally ho approach.

 Christ almighty.

Surprised you find that strange. I would have thought that most people prefer the blood and snots excitement of English Football as played by Keegan. Maybe its an generation thing (not meant nastily :) )

Not at all as Keegan is my hero but Barcelona are just on a different level to anything in my lifetime.

Also not sure if people agree but we played better football IMO when we had Sellars and Cole rather than Ginola and Ferdinand.

But would you not rather watch end to end stuff as opposed to one team dominating with loads of possession?

The best "football" (as opposed to most effective) we ever played under KK was the sort of one-touch football typified by the 2-1 away win to Norwich. I can sort of see your point about tiki-taka at times but that's down to the opposition trying to nullify it rather than the ethos behind it imo. Also, I don't see Keegan's brand of football as being 'blood and snots' as you call it. Perhaps its biggest downfall in his first spell as manager was a lack of English 'no nonsense' cynicism. Then again, CT, you clearly know absolutely fuck all about football so I'm not sure why I'm bothering

No not at all, simply because of how brilliant is to watch the attacking play of Xavi, Iniesta and Messi.

7-8 first team players who've been playing together since they were 7. We're not going to see the likes of it again during our lifetimes I reckon. I dont know how anyone who claims to be a football fans cannot enjoy watching that team. They should be kept out of football discussions anyway, no parallels whatsoever in modern day football.

Fair enough, but give me the sort of Liverpool v Newcastle 4-3 game any day of the week. (Though hopefully with the scoreline reversed).

I can understand why people find it boring when they watch Spain play without a striker, but that's because Del Bosque is a lot more negative than Guardiola was or Villanova is now.

Ok you have played the most long balls in the prem , much worse than the likes of stoke , west ham etc. So lets not try and cover it over with any bullshit

Can someone ban this person as he's absolutely infuriating me so much. You think we're doing ok, you think we're not bad but along comes 'daddy' with his witty insightful putdowns and just destroys us.

I'm not sure how much more I can cope. If you're reading this 'daddy', show us some mercy. Please!

9-1, FTM, SCS, FBI and WTF etc.

By the way, 'daddy', can YOU explain why SAFC's average gate this season is 3,000 BELOW our LOWEST gate of the season?

When you do, don't bother putting it on here, just send it as a PM to Gemmill and he can summarise for me. Cheers.

the generation point would have some relevance if you'd been a football fan in your youth; as it is, it just makes you look even more of a worthless retard than the rest of your inane, inaccurate drivel already does.

and what about The Turner Prize?

as you're no doubt a bit of a Grayson Perry aficionado / lookalike, how do you feel about Elizabeth Price winning it?
