DubiousBobcat 0
So how many more times do we need to hear/read Pardew saying 'The Europa league is tiring the players' and 'we have huge injury problems'? On the first one, the likes of Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal have been doing it for years in a tougher more demanding tournament in the Champions League and yet they consistently perform in the league. Why? Because they build on the team to compensate and strengthen their positions in both which brings me onto the second point. How can Pardew complain about injuries when we didn't build on the squad in the summer? Some will say that wasn't Pardew's fault but I believe he is partiality to blame. When will Pardew finally blame himself and stop making pathetic excuses? We will sack Pardew when we are fighting to stay in the league with 6 games to go and bring Shearer in to save the day... Ok, the last sentence is delusional chemo talk but seriously, am I alone in wanting a better more experienced manager in who can sort out this mess? Christmas Tree 4827
The problem is that virtually every Newcastle fan wants stability but so far this season Pardew is looking clueless. Bottom line for me is that if we can get better then lets get better. Edited November 28, 2012 by Christmas Tree

Howmanheyman 33845
Once upon a time Newcastle United fans used to blame the board for our shortcomings as it was blatantly obvious that this is where the problems originated. What changed? Agreed the board are also to blame but what happens on the pitch and the tactics implemented are Pardew's fault. I believe the excuses are lame. On the other note, the Europa obviously doesn't give us an extra 10m granted but we wasted a huge chunk on one pretty inept player with a girls name. I haven't got the answers which is why I don't work in football but keen to read others opinions. Gejon 2
To be fair they're perfectly vaild excuses. Yep I am not at all happy at the moment but I get the feeling if all our first team and reserve players contracted some disease so we had to field an under 15 side and lost it would still be 'more excuses from Pardew' He has dug himself into a whole with comments about being happy with the summers dealings but he was never going to slag off the people who gave him the biggest job he will ever have and he was no doubt pushed for these comments by the press. He has made a fair few mistakes mind, it just doesn't mean these excuses aren't valid.

Lake Bells tits 1
Whats the point monkey. Any suggestion would be met with a "he wouldnt come here" or some club he has fucked up at, ignoring the fact that Pardew has been passed around like a vietnamese hooker in the lower divisions prior to winning a casino bet with Mike where the prize was a job. When things arent going well - be it in business or on in fotball - the manager walks. Its just how it is, he is culpable regardless of it being his fault or not. Was Dominic solely to blame for Frances poor showing in the world cup 2010? Perhaps not, the player group was a bunch of cunts but they wouldnt play for him let alone bleed anymore -l so he has to go. Similar thing seems to happen here, our belief is gone. Hard to get that back without firing the manager - which history goes to show. Edited November 28, 2012 by Lake Bells tits

Monkeys Fist 43067
So, the only option, when the team suffer a drop in form, exacerbated by injuries to several key players, is to sack the manager. Joined up thinking , that.

Try me. You're one of the more vocal of the very few shouting for Pardew's head- give me two credible suggestions for a replacement, and why you think they'd be any better. Brock Manson 0
We were winning until the 81st minute, just too knackered to hold on so we got sloppy. Always difficult on a cold wednesday night at the Britannia too. Christmas break and a january transfer window can't come quickly enough. At least with everyone playing so shockingly poor it'll keep J69 from yabbering on about us selling Tiote for a month. Need new first team players in desperately. Get some loan signings in ffs. Monkeys Fist 43067
My point was less about me being a Pardew fanboy, which I never have been, and more about the ridiculousness of saying we should sack him, at this point in the season, all because of a drop in form. I don't deny we aren't playing well, but I , and most others, can see why. It's not entirely due to the manager, but neither is he blame free.
