themags 0
Reading back over the thread, I'm pleased I didn't watch it on Sky. For me Colo shouldn't have been sent off, it's all about consistency if Colo gets a red for that then Sterling gets at least a yellow in the first half. aimaad22 4222
Cheer up. Im quite happy, said on here before the game I'd take the point. Not a fan of the sitting back and hoping for the other team to be shite approach though. We're quite capable of playing our natural game even against good sides. wolfy 12
Let's be honest. Suarez's goal was an equal amount of luck as it was skill. He took the ball on his shoulder and 9 times out of ten it would have went anywhere but where it did. It was just a massive bit of fortune. aimaad22 4222
We can deffo call that a massive point gained as we rarely come away with anything from Anfield. The more I see of Sammi Ameobi, the more I like the lad. He's a defenders nightmare. Aye was very impressed with him. Showed a calm head today as well along with the footballing ability. The intent was there. It wasn't about going for the ball, it was about giving it to Suarez, which is why I have a feeling that it could end up with an extra 2 game ban on top of the original. Gejon 2
Never a red: Could have at least hurt him... That's like watching a 40 yard thunderbolt bounce out off the inside of the post. Really wish he got a clean connection and snapped the leg or maybe even both. I really am not someone who wishes injuries on players but that cunt, I really, really would take enjoyment out of seeing him seriously injured on a football pitch. Monroe Transfer 0
It was a hopeful long ball, he showed a bit of decent control with his chest and rounded the keeper. Not worthy of Quinn orgasming over it. Edited November 4, 2012 by Monroe Transfer

All great goals have that little bit of luck. As much as I cant stand the guy its unfair to try and take that away from him. Almost as unfair as those commentators continually wanking over Suarez when our goal was just as good in a different way.

Kid Dynamite 7169
TBF, not making a connection with Suarez probably saved him an extended ban, cos he looked like he wanted to do him, Suarez's goal was canny, aye, but Ba scored a similar one a couple of weeks ago and fuck all was said. Sublime, Genius, Magic Get to fuck, it was a punt up field, he took it down and took it round the keeper like any decent forward should.

I can't take the skill away from him after it dropped but the shoulder bit was simply that bit of luck you need for something like that.
Gemmill 46027
Never a red: Could have at least hurt him... Looks like a red to me. In fact, it looks like what half this board thought Tiote's was like last week. Mick Lowes on the radio btw, fucking absolutely adamant it wasn't a red and insisting they should appeal. And that's with replays. What an arsepiece. "He's done him for the intent more so than what he's actually ended up doing." wolfy 12
Irony Not irony. Wishing a serious injury on a player simply because he's class but a whining little shit. How many players are whining little shits? Loads. If he played for Newcastle, you'd be defending him to the hilt.
Monroe Transfer 0
That's also (obviously) in slow mo. Makes it look worse than it is. Like I said still a red whatever way you spin it.

If he played for Newcastle I probably would (I would be embarrassed though in all honesty), that being said I don't despise any other player (even Catts for me like) as I do Suarez, he is a detestable little scum bag who cheats a handful of times ever fucking game. If he got the sort of challenge he often acts like he has it would be long overdue. Edited November 4, 2012 by Gejon

Monroe Transfer 0
Suarez is on another level to any other player probably in world football in terms of how poorly he's perceived for his off the ball actions on the pitch. There's a reason for that. Or rather there's several. I've watched football for most of my life and I've never disliked a player as much as I do him. Even Roy Keane. And I hated Roy Keane.
