Tooj 17
Have you got fibre optic like? Hasn't reached N Shields yet. Aye. I'm on 60meg.
Christmas Tree 4729
It's by no means slow, I would just like it to be instantaneous rather than a two second lag while loading. Probably being over fussy and expecting too much of my new router.
Gemmill 44995
Aye. I'm on 60meg. I'm only on 16meg or something. Still absolutely PWNING the Beast of Boldon.

Kid Dynamite 7034
I get 6-8mb. Never needed anymore. Streams Netflix in HD. What is a 60mb connection good for, other than emptying your bank account every month?
Andrew 4774
Well, at any one time my house can have 2 PCs, 2 laptops, 2 iPads, 3 phones and am Xbox 360 running off it. Realistically that usually is a PC, the Xbox, the iPads and a laptop using it. Were long term virgin customers so the 100 connection actually cost us less than we were paying for 50 when we switched. Gemmill 44995
Aye J69, while you're watching Netflix, your Internet speeds for doing anything else will be cattled. They are on my 16meg connection. A much quicker connection will allow other things to operate as normal - so someone else could be watching Netflix elsewhere in the house, or streaming music or downloading or whatever. When I'm watching Netflix I tend to be, well, watching Netflix tbh I don't tend to be streaming music, playing on my xbox and watching netflix all at the same time. I can see the benefit if you have a house full like but that's not an issue for me atm edit - It costs me £5 a month off Sky btw Edited October 26, 2012 by TheRollingStones
Gemmill 44995
You understand that not everyone's circumstances are the same as yours now though, so we've at least made some progress.
