Good to see Fatty getting the slating he deserves in nearly every response here. The FAT CUNT. I don't want him to die or anything like that, but I would love some circumstance dictating that he has to sell the club. I don't care if he gives £1bn to charity, I don't care if we win the league, I'll never ever ever accept that disgrace of a man. There's things money can't buy, respect is one and he'll never have mine.

The problem you have is plain and simple. You simply don't like the man himself. Now there can only be 3 reasons for this.

1. You idolised Keegan and your hatred has stemmed from Keegan walking out because Ashley didn't give him the power he thought he was getting.

2. He won't pay over the odds for players that are simply not worth it.

3. You went with the flow of hate and have slated him that much, you feel you can never back down from that stance, so you will continue hating him no matter what.

If I was a betting man, I'd say it was a mixture of all 3 but I think the underlying problem will probably stem from Keegan spitting out his dummy.

Anyway:

The real truth is.... Mike Ashley has done what no other owner has dared to do. He's actually decided to run the club as a sustainable model and concentrating on first things first and is doing so because he made naive mistakes early on in his ownership.

He runs this club like he runs his businesses. He buys for sensible prices and slowly builds up the quality of those businesses, which attracts the customer base to make the businesses even bigger.

He is a rich man because he's not afraid to make mistakes and take a risk, yet if his risk doesn't pay off first time, he will calculate his next risk, until he gets it right.

He gets it right because he doesn't give up and is not afraid to piss people off along the way.

That's what he's done at Newcastle. He's took risks and seen the backlash he got when it didn't work.

He could have cut and run, which he nearly did if a buyer had come in with a genuine effort to aid the club, yet all we got was Barry Moat who wanted it on the never never.

Imagine where we would be now if good old Geordie (do it from the heart) businessman Moat had got hold of us.

Ashley decided to stick with us and go to plan B and we are seeing the fruits of that plan starting to ripen.

Just cast your mind back a few years and remember the shit this club was in and the emergence of the Billionaire that was to take us over. We were all jumping about and boasting to anyone who would listen that, " this is it" mega bucks players...top class expensive players adorning the pitch. Most would have kissed Ashley boots.

Sam Allardyce as we know, had the team playing dire boring football, yet he was trying to build the team in his own way for consolidation firstly and was putting his plan together...Don't get me wrong here....I didn't like his brand of football and neither did 99% of the fans.

Ashley got rid of Allardyce because he could sense the discontent with the fans and him being naive at the time, he sacked Allardyce for no real reason, other than he knew the fans weren't happy.

When Allardyce left....very few fans gave a shit about how he left and he was basically forgotten as soon as Keegan walked through the door.

Sam who? No Sam here mate, you must have the wrong club.

Keegan spits his dummy out and WW3 breaks out, all because , too many fans were still hanging onto his coat tails from the first time round.

You see...Ashley can sack Allardyce and the reason is , " just because I can"....Keegan walks out over one or two players being signed and Ashley is an evil fat bastard Cockney shit house and all the rest of the bile.

Throughout all the bile and hypocritical bitterness and what not, Ashley has managed to face a relegation through his own naiveness and ill thought out appointments, to turn it all around and from that point on, using his head, whilst also appointing the people he knows that can all play their part in running a successful football club, which in terms of stable finances, we are over the first hurdle towards success.

The second hurdle is the influx of players that are fair priced yet not short on quality.

The third hurdle is gaining the required sponsors, which he has managed to do, so that we can play in the transfer market from funds that the CLUB generates and not his back pocket.

The final hurdle is for us to gain the required team/squad size and quality to give the top teams a real run for their money but he will do it based on what the club generates, whether that's through advertising, sponsors, gate money and transfer fees.

Wanting an owner out who can do what he's done for this club is not only silly, it's fucking bordering on insane.

Just remember.. if we lose Ashley, you better hope the new owners have a similar plan because right now, we have everything in place from bootom to top to propel this club forward.

You want Ashley out...well you better hope that the next owners can give out blank cheques like Man City because because nobody will be able to run it effectively like Ashley is doing.

Your sheikh's will provide your superstars on sick wages...no problem and if it happens, just remember...the academies will look good and smart but will produce nothing because the team will be saturated with tailor made expensive superstars, rendering the up and coming kids pointless and forcing them out.

Choose what you want...

Do you want it all now, or do you want to wait and have the satisfied mind that the club built the success based on hard work and shrewd buying .

1. What have you made of your start to the season so far?

-Results wise not good but not bad neither, Performance wise we have been pretty poor.

2. What are your opinions our our start to the season so far?

-You've had a good start, some good results and played some very nice football, enjoy it now as you will fall away around christmas.

3. We've recently seen Alan Pardew given a new eight year contract, what are your reactions to this?

-Nice to see him rewarded with a new deal, he deserves it and contrary to what "Dr Gloom" and a few others say, he is not a 'yes man' and is doing a very good job here.

4. Mike Ashley always seemed an unpopular figure around your parts, what are your opinions on him?

-Has made quite a few bad mistakes but as things go he is doing a good job at putting them right. Our financial strength is one of his main acheivements.

5. What are your opinions on WBA as a football club alongside its supporters?

-Similar to Fulham in that they are a nice, small, family kinda club with good fans. I hate Adrian Childs though. ;)

6. Which players in your side should we look out for, and which players in our side do you fear?

-Quite a few...Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Ba and Cisse. Tiote and Coloccini are key players to shutting down the opposition too....Shane Long.

7. What are you expecting for the remainder of the season?

-With a little luck with injuries to kick on and find some of the sparkling form we seen last season. Needs to happen soon if we are to push the top 4. I predict a 5th place finish again.

8. What are you expecting from WBA for the remainder of the season? Do we have a chance of Europe?

-If you can keep up this good form then you could go close to a European spot but i very much doubt it. I expect you to fall away over the enxt 3 months and finish about 10th.

9. What side is Alan Pardew most likely to put out?

-Tiote aside our full strength starting 11. Krul, Simpson, Taylor, Coloccini, Santon, Jonas, Cabaye, *Anita, Ben Arfa, Ba and *Cisse. *Depending how they play midweek in Europe.

10. And finally, score predictions.

-We looked good last weekend before the sending off, if we can start well then i see us winning and winning well. 3-0 Ba, Cisse and Cabaye.

"Keegan spits the dummy out"

I don't know if it's just me but I instantly distrust any supporter of ours that states this line.

Also love the Barry Moat connection as well, bravo! Did you mention Shepherd as well? Full house if you did!

When you watched the poor saps crowbar the St. James' Park sign off did you get a warm cosy feeling knowing that Mike was looking after us, Wolfy, mate?

I have no respect for Keegan after what he done in taking the club to court. Yes he did spit his dummy out regardless of constructive dismissal in a CIVIL court ruled in his favour.

Barry Moat had nothing that could have took this club forward...NOTHING, except cap in hand borrowing from banks which he would have had no chance of doing because Shepherd had already put a massive hole in the ship regarding bank borrowing.

This club was ruled by Geordies ruling with their hearts and not their heads. They were thinking like supporters and wanting what supporters wanted, so they begged and borrowed to make it happen. That's why this club was in meltdown.

We have an owner that rules with his head now and it's just what this club needed.

As for you not trusting me , it doesn't make any odds, as I support Newcastle for ME, not you, or anyone else and I have done all my life.

What my thoughts are, are my true thoughts whether anyone likes it or not.

Why do you feel that KK shouldnt have taken the club to court?

We were in the Champions League that year, but spent massively to get there.

Imagine this situation. You buy 30 high end sports cars using money borrowed from the bank. You then sell them for 70% of what they cost you. You look flash as owt, and look like you're a real player, but in actual fact you've just lost a fortune and still owe the bank the money.

NUFC no longer works like this, thankfully.

We didn't spend massively to go there at all. Our net spend between 2000 and 2004 was £30m, less than Tottenham who couldn't even get in to the top 10.

Because he was employed by the club. He's an EMPLOYEE who was paid to manage the team.

Keegan relied on MESSIAH status.

Ok so he was told to sign a few players based on whatever and he didn't fancy them. Equally , he wanted to fill the team with trophy like past their sell by date signings.

Imagine the state of the club if he'd have done that.

Remember, to the fans, he was an icon.....to mercenaries, he's just the manager of their meal ticket into retirement for cameo roles and sickness benefits, which is what would have happened as it has in the past.

He lost my respect by trying to sue the club...not Ashley.....THE CLUB for something like 20 million give or take.

He won his case for constructive dismissal which is fair enough but he didn't win anything more than Ashley would have paid him anyway and the court ruled he could have his wages paid up and nothing more...so in effect, the civil court ruled in both their favours.

To me, Keegan is a bitter little shit.

He was never, ever going to get 20miilion out of the club and I said so at the time. Both his lawyers and Keegan knew this and were basically trying it on. He got what he was entitled to, his contract paying up and a day in court to put the record straight.

I've never met a Newcastle fan (and I've been a ST holder since the 80s) who has called him the messiah. Only fuckin bell ends call him that. And oh look, that includes you.

You give him no credit for what he did either in 82 or 92; why is that? He's done more for NUFC than virtually any person alive...but you'd have to be a supporter to understand that, not a blatant wum.

Exactly, so he had to sue the club. Why should that piss you off?

Ermmm, let me see.

Maybe it's because I love the club and wanted the club to survive, so watching that little bastard trying to take it for money it didn't have when he could have just walked away pissed me right off.

Constructive dismissal in court or not...the FACT is, he WALKED out on the club, he wasn't sacked directly and was even asked back.

He spat out his dummy like he always has done and I thank fuck that we got rid of him when we did.

I've gave Keegan top credit for what he done for the team in the earlier times both playing and managing. His charisma and status brought players to the club at that time. That's a chapter in history that every fan can thank him for, including myself.

What I thought of Keegan at that time has no bearing on what I think of him now. He tried to shaft the club and failed.

The fact he tried , told me that he's a little shit who thought of his pocket.

I don;t need to prove to you about my support and as far as the old, "oh you're a WUM" goes...that's the only thing you and other daft cunts can come up with when someone doesn't agree on your Keegan love in..

Get real man. hahaha

Absolutely correct, will always be number one in my eyes, and in most decent toon fans' eyes. Has anyone done an IP check on Wolfy? Is it North of the Tyne the address?

1. What have you made of your start to the season so far?

Frustrating, but in line with what we have at our dispoasal. The Europa matches I dont think have helped as there have been some swapping and changing of teams and same with the injuries. It would be nice to have a settled side & formation.

2. What are your opinions our our start to the season so far?

I'll be honest I havent seen anything of you this season tbf

3. We've recently seen Alan Pardew given a new eight year contract, what are your reactions to this?

Its good we are trying to get stability, but 8 years is too long.

4. Mike Ashley always seemed an unpopular figure around your parts, what are your opinions on him?

Money grabber. Nothing more. Yes he has brought financial stability to the club, but he always has two steps forward followed by twenty steps back. Be it with the naming of the stadium or more importantly recently, not releasing funds to strengthen key areas. We have made profit on player sales and given a relativly small outlay and strengthened key areas we could have used last year as decent foundations to build on. We let Smith, Guthrie & McLovin guy which would have been a fair wedge in wages too.

Like whats been said, the history of the club means fuck all to him. He sees it as he sees his business's if its not making profit or anything similar it goes. If you watch us v Brugge etc all the signs are promoting his brand in Belgium etc.

5. What are your opinions on WBA as a football club alongside its supporters?

They try and play football and generally do. I remeber you bringing a fair support when you beat us in extra time in the League Cup midweek, impressive. Shit accent though ;)

6. Which players in your side should we look out for, and which players in our side do you fear?

Ba Ben Arfa ,Cabaye & Colo. You can add Cisse to that and Tiote, but at the moment they are slighly stuttering. Your lads, apologies, I really havent taken any note of you guys at all this season.

7. What are you expecting for the remainder of the season?

Some stability in the formation and team. Cisse to start scoring and with the transfer window, keep hold of Cabaye, Tiote etc. Bring a couple of players in and try and get a top 8 finish.

8. What are you expecting from WBA for the remainder of the season? Do we have a chance of Europe?

If you carry on how you're playing (looked up your results, like I say, not seen much) why not?!

9. What side is Alan Pardew most likely to put out?

Krul - Simpson - S Taylor - Colo - Santon - Jonas - Anita - Cabaye - Ba - Cisse

Krul - Simpson - S Taylor - Colo - Santon - Jonas - Anita - Cabaye - Ba - Cisse

10. And finally, score predictions.

1-1
