They are responsible for many £100ks of funding and keeping the rest of us in a job. Now that's pressure, and I think for £30k it's a fair deal. Our CEO is probably on about £40k, but you can't put a figure on his experience and contacts which make the £30k person's job a lot easier. The one thing I love and hate about working for a charity is that we're all in it together, if someone isn't pulling their weight we could all be fucked..which is why when we've employed people like that they tend to disappear quite quickly. I think my boss kills them. Sorry, I'm letting it out a bit now, the pros far outweigh the cons! Edited cos I'm a spelling and grammar knacker.
